Introducció

The Monopoly Deal No Mercy card game is a fast-paced, strategic card game for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up. The objective is to be the first player to collect three complete property sets of different colors. This edition introduces more aggressive action cards and debt mechanics compared to the classic Monopoly Deal game.

Components

Configuració

1. Barreja les cartes: Thoroughly shuffle all 120 game cards.

6. Choose a Starting Player: The player who most recently visited a bank starts the game. Play proceeds clockwise.

Funcionament (Com jugar)

Quan sigui el teu torn, segueix aquests passos:

1. Robar cartes: Draw 2 cards from the draw pile. If you have a Debt Chip, draw 1 additional card (total 3).
2. Play Cards (Up to 3): Play up to 3 cards from your hand. You can play cards in three ways:
   • Into your Bank: Place Money cards or Action cards face up into your personal Bank pile. These cards represent money you can use to pay other players.
   • Into your Property Sets: Place Property cards face up in front of you to start or add to Property Sets. You need to collect a certain number of properties of the same color to complete a set. Wild Property cards can be used to complete any set.
   • As Actions: Play Action cards into the center discard pile to perform their stated effect. Action cards allow you to collect rent, steal properties, demand money, or perform other strategic moves.
3. Discard Excess Cards: At the end of your turn, if you have more than 7 cards in your hand, discard the excess cards into the discard pile until you have 7 cards.

The game continues clockwise until a player achieves the winning condition.

Game Rules and Special Actions

Guanyant el joc

The first player to collect three complete Property Sets of different colors wins the game. A complete set means having all properties of a specific color group, as indicated on the property cards.

Action cards are central to the "No Mercy" aspect of this game. They allow for aggressive plays and direct interaction with opponents' assets.

• Punt decisiu: Steal a complete property set from any player, including any buildings.
• Double Rent: Choose a property color and collect double rent from each player for every property you own in that color.
• Unfair Trade: Swap your entire Bank with another player's Bank. This card cannot be played if your Bank is empty.
• Other Action cards may allow you to demand money, steal individual properties, or cancel an opponent's action.

Debt Chips

When a player cannot pay an opponent the full amount requested (either for rent or an action card), they must hand over a Debt Chip to that opponent. The player who receives the Debt Chip will draw an additional card on their next turn. The player who gave the Debt Chip must pay the opponent a card from their hand on their next turn, in addition to their regular turn actions.

Manteniment

To ensure the longevity of your Monopoly Deal No Mercy game:

If you are required to pay money (e.g., for rent or an action card) and you do not have enough money cards in your Bank, you must give the requesting player a Debt Chip. On your next turn, in addition to your regular actions, you must give one card from your hand to the player who holds your Debt Chip.

Can I play an Action card to cancel another Action card?

Yes, certain Action cards, like "Just Say No!", can be played to cancel another player's Action card. Always refer to the specific text on the card for its exact effect and timing.

What happens if the draw pile runs out?

If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the discard pile to create a new draw pile. Continue playing as normal.
