Fit the quick hook onto the bearing of the rocker cam. Adjust the spring tension using the nut on the lower end. First loosen the locknut, turn the adjusting nut to the desired tension, and then retighten the locknut to secure it.
Turn the power on while simultaneously pushing the START/STOP key. The LCD will display 'OFF', indicating the auto-off feature is disabled until the unit is powered down again.
