WarmlyYours support FAQ
Preguntes freqüents sobre manuals, registre i assistència per a aquesta marca.
-
Can I cut the WarmlyYours TempZone heating cable to fit my room?
No. You must never cut the heating cable, as altering the length changes the electrical resistance and can lead to overheating or system failure. Excess cold lead wire may be trimmed, but the heating element itself must remain intact.
-
What type of underlayment should I use on a concrete slab?
When installing over concrete, WarmlyYours recommends using an insulating underlayment like CeraZorb® to direct heat upwards into the flooring rather than losing it into the slab.
-
How do I know if my heating system is working during installation?
You should check the ohms resistance of the heating element with a digital multimeter before, during, and after installation. The reading should match the value on the product label within a tolerance of -5/+10%.
-
Is a GFCI required for electric floor heating?
Yes, electric floor heating systems must be connected to a Class-A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Many WarmlyYours thermostats include a built-in GFCI for this purpose.
