1. Introducció

4. Configuració i instal·lació

4.1 Muntatge de la pantalla

1. Choose a suitable position on your e-bike's handlebar, typically near the left grip, ensuring it does not obstruct braking or shifting.
2. Attach the handlebar mounting bracket to the handlebar and secure it firmly.
3. Slide the KM5S-R display unit onto the bracket until it clicks into place.

4.2 Connexió elèctrica

The KM5S-R display connects to your e-bike's controller via an integrated cable. Ensure the e-bike's power is OFF before making connections.

1. Locate the corresponding connector on your e-bike's wiring harness (often a green circular connector as shown in product images).
2. Align the pins and securely connect the display's cable to the e-bike's harness.
3. If a throttle assembly is included, connect it to the appropriate port on your e-bike's controller or wiring harness.
4. Route and secure all cables to prevent interference with moving parts and protect them from damage.

5.1 Engegada/apagada

To power on the display and your e-bike system, press and hold the power button (location may vary, typically on the display or a separate control pad). To power off, press and hold the power button again.

5.2 RFID Function (If applicable)

The KM5S-R features an RFID function for enhanced security or system activation. To use:

1. With the display powered on, hold an authorized RFID key near the RFID reader area on the display (indicated by the wireless symbol).
2. The system should activate or deactivate based on the RFID key's programming. Refer to your e-bike's controller manual for specific RFID setup procedures.

5.3 Display Functions and Controls

The KM5S-R display provides various riding metrics and control options:

• Velocitat: Velocitat actual de conducció.
• Nivell PAS: Pedal Assist System level (e.g., ECO, MODE, INFO). Adjust using the control buttons.

• Far: Control your e-bike's headlight (if connected).

6. Manteniment

• Emmagatzematge: When not in use for extended periods, store the e-bike and display in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Inspecció del cable: Reviseu periòdicament tots els cables i connectors per detectar signes de desgast, danys o connexions soltes.

7. Solució De Problemes

• La pantalla no s'encén:
  • Ensure the e-bike battery is charged and properly connected.
  • Check all electrical connections between the display and the controller for looseness or damage.
  • Si el problema persisteix, poseu-vos en contacte amb el servei d'atenció al client.
• Incorrect Readings (Speed, Distance):
  • Verify that the wheel size setting in the display's menu (if accessible) matches your e-bike's wheel size.
  • Check the speed sensor and magnet for proper alignment and secure attachment.
• RFID Not Working:
  • Ensure the RFID key is correctly programmed for your system.
  • Hold the RFID key close to the designated reader area.
