Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of your signal booster. Follow these steps carefully:

  • Verify Frequency: Confirm that your mobile carrier uses the 800MHz (Band 20) frequency in your area. This booster will not work with other frequencies.
  • Check Outdoor Signal Strength: Use your mobile phone to find the location with the strongest outdoor signal. You need at least 3 bars of stable signal for the booster to function effectively.

4.3 Passos d'instal·lació

  1. Install Outdoor Antenna (Yagi Antenna):

    Mount the Yagi antenna in the outdoor location where you detected the strongest signal. Point the antenna towards the nearest mobile signal tower. Ensure it is securely fixed and has a clear line of sight to the tower if possible.

  2. Connect Outdoor Antenna to Booster:

    Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the outdoor Yagi antenna (NJ-FK Connect) and the other end to the "Outdoor Port" (F-Female Connector) on the GOBOOST Signal Booster.

  3. Install Indoor Antenna (Whip Antenna):

    Install the indoor whip antenna inside your building, in the area where you want to improve signal coverage. Ensure it is positioned away from the outdoor antenna to prevent signal interference (feedback loop).

  4. Connect Indoor Antenna to Booster:

    Connect the indoor whip antenna to the "Indoor Port" (SMA-Female Connector) on the GOBOOST Signal Booster.

  5. Ensure Antenna Separation:

    It is critical to maintain maximum possible distance between the outdoor and indoor antennas. There should be a physical barrier (like a wall or ceiling) between them, and they should not be on the same horizontal line. This prevents the indoor antenna from feeding signal back into the outdoor antenna, which can cause oscillation and reduce performance.

  6. Connectar l'alimentació:

    Connect the power adapter to the GOBOOST Signal Booster and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet. The device will power on automatically.
