1.2. Instruccions de seguretat

  • Always perform diagnosis or service in a safe environment.
  • Utilitzeu protecció ocular de seguretat que compleixi els estàndards ANSI.
  • Mantingueu la roba, els cabells, les mans, les eines, els equips de prova, etc. allunyats de totes les parts del motor en moviment o calentes.

2. Configuració

2.1. Unboxing and Accessories

The MaxiTPMS TS508/TS508WF package includes the following items:

2.2. Càrrega de la bateria

The TPMS tool has a 3.7 V built-in lithium-ion polymer rechargeable battery.

How to charge battery via PC connection:

  1. Locate the USB port of the device.
  2. Connect the device and the computer with the USB cable.

How to charge battery via USB cable adapter:

  1. Locate the USB port of the device.
  2. Connect the device and the power source with the USB cable adapter.

For optimum performance, always keep your tool sufficiently charged. It is recommended that you charge the tool for at least 2 hours before the first use.

NOTA

Only use the USB cable adapter included in our pack to charge this tool. The use of unapproved power supplies may damage your tool and void the tool warranty.

2.3. Power Up by DLC (Data Link Connector)

The tool can also be powered by the vehicle via OBD II cable connection to the vehicle Data Link Connector (DLC). Just follow the steps below to turn on the TPMS tool:

  1. Connect the OBD II cable to the TPMS tool.

  4. Power up the TPMS tool by pressing the Poder button, and wait for the Menú principal per mostrar.

  1. SENSOR SLOT – holds the MX-Sensor to be programmed.
  2. Pantalla LCD – displays the menus and test screens.
  3. N BUTTON – cancels a selection (or action) from a menu or returns to the previous menu.

  13. CONNECTOR OBD II – connects to the vehicle's Data Link Connector (DLC).

3.3. TPMS Quick Mode

Perform basic TPMS functions through the Quick service mode. This includes Scan Sensor, Program Sensor, Relearn Procedure, and Sensor Information.

3.3.1. Identificació del vehicle

Select the test vehicle to start a TPMS service session.

  1. Al menú principal, seleccioneu Mode ràpid i premeu Y.

  3. Seleccioneu Model (e.g., Q3) and press Y.
  4. Seleccioneu Any. For vehicles using indirect TPMS, follow the displayed relearn procedure. For vehicles using direct TPMS, select the appropriate frequency (e.g., 433Mhz) and press Y.

3.3.2. Scan Sensor

This function allows you to activate and read data from TPMS sensors.

  1. From the Quick Mode menu, select Sensor d'escaneig.
  2. Hold the tool close to the sensor or the tire sidewall right above the sensor.
  3. Premeu Y or Disparador per activar el sensor.
  4. The device will receive and display sensor data (ID, pressure, temperature, voltagi).
  5. If activation fails, press Y or Disparador per tornar-ho a provar.

3.3.3. Programa Sensor

This function is used to program Autel MX-Sensors. There are two main methods:

Auto Create 1-16 Sensors:
  1. From the Program Sensor menu, select Creació automàtica de sensors 1-16.
  2. Place 1-16 MX-Sensor(s) close to the top of the tool. The tool will automatically detect sensors.
  3. Confirm to continue. The tool will program the sensors and display their IDs and PSNs.

  1. From the Program Sensor menu, select Còpia per OBD.
  2. If no TPMS diagnosis was performed, connect the OBD cable to the vehicle's DLC and read information from the ECU.
  3. Premeu Y to use previously stored data or N for new data.
  4. The tool will read sensor IDs from the ECU. Place one MX-Sensor near the top of the tool and select a sensor ID to program.

3.3.4. Relearn Procedure

To turn off the TPMS warning light after sensor replacement, you need to relearn the sensors to the vehicle. The tool provides three methods:

Requires the vehicle to be placed in "Learn Mode". Follow the on-screen instructions to activate all sensors and then perform the Stationary Relearn.

Automatic Relearn:

For some vehicles, the relearn function can be completed by driving. Refer to the on-screen Relearn Procedure for exact details.

OBD Relearn:

Allows the TS508WF to directly write TPMS sensor IDs to the TPMS module. Activate sensors on all wheels (FL, FR, RR, RL). If sensors are triggered, the tool will ask to clear saved data or use existing data, then instruct to connect OBD cable and perform OBD Relearn.

3.3.5. Informació del sensor

MX-Sensor Information:

Place an MX-Sensor near the top of the tool and press Y to display Sensor ID, Frequency, Voltage, Hardware/Software Version, Area Code/P_ID, and PSN.

OE Sensor Information:

The tool will automatically display OE sensor information (Manufacturer, Frequency, Relearn Type, Part Number, Number On Sensor) for the selected vehicle.

3.4. TPMS Advanced Mode

The Advanced service mode performs additional TPMS functions: TPMS Diagnose, Program Sensor, Position Relearn, and Information (OE and MX-Sensor data and vehicle OBDII port location diagram).

3.4.1. TPMS Diagnose

This function is used to check TPMS and sensor status.

  1. From the Advanced Mode menu, select Diagnòstic de TPMS.
  2. Follow on-screen instructions to activate all sensors.
  3. Connect the OBD cable to the vehicle's DLC and turn ignition on.
  4. The tool will read sensor IDs and Data Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the ECU.
  5. The Sensor Status screen displays position, sensor ID, tire pressure, tire temperature, and battery level.
  6. If DTCs are present, you can view them and choose to erase them.

3.4.2. Tire Type/Pressure Selection

If TPMS faults are cleared and tires are inflated to placard pressure, but the TPMS MIL is still on, use this function to select tire type and set pressure value.

Read Tire Type/Pressure:

Seleccioneu Read Tire Type/Pressure i premeu Y to read the tire type and pressure of the test vehicle. Press Desa per guardar o Enrere per sortir.

Write Tire Type/Pressure:

Select the item to change and press Disparador to enter edit mode. Use Amunt/Avall per seleccionar i Y per confirmar. Premeu Y to confirm and exit, or N per sortir sense desar.

3.5. Miscellaneous Functions

3.5.1. Kit d'eines

Test strength of remoteless key fob signal or unlock ECU for Toyota vehicles.

RKE & RF Monitor:

Seleccioneu Kit d'eines from the Main Menu, then Monitor RKE i RF. Hold the key fob close to the tool and press its buttons. The tool will beep and display signal strength. It tests 315MHz and 433MHz key fobs.

Unlock ECU (Toyota only):

Seleccioneu Unlock ECU (just support Toyota) i seguiu les instruccions a la pantalla.

3.5.2. Latest Test

4.1.1. Update by USB with Maxi PC Suite

The update procedures for Mac (OS X 10.11 or later) and Windows versions of the Maxi PC Suite are similar. The Windows version is used as an exampli aquí.

4.1.2. Update by Wi-Fi

This method allows for convenient updates without needing a PC connection after initial setup.

  1. On the tool, select El meu dispositiu > Update by Wi-Fi.
  2. Seleccioneu Escaneja Wi-Fi to find available networks. Select your network and sign in.
  3. Ensure the tool is connected to a power source (plugged in) during the update process.
  4. Seleccioneu to begin updating the tool.
  5. The device will restart automatically after a successful update.

4.2. Neteja

Keep the TPMS tool dry, clean, free from oil, water, and grease. Use a mild nonabrasive detergent on a soft cotton cloth to clean the keypad and display. No solvents such as alcohol are allowed for device cleaning. Do not soak the keypad as it is not waterproof.

4.3. Battery Life Conservation

The tool features an automatic power-off function to preserve battery life. You can set the amount of time of inactivity before the tool automatically powers off in the settings menu.

5. Solució De Problemes

5.1. Vehicle Linking Error

If the TPMS tool fails to communicate with the vehicle's ECU (Electronic Control Unit) during diagnosis, check the following:

  • Verify that the vehicle is OBD II compliant.

(the Company) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this MaxiTPMS Diagnostic Device that should this product or any part thereof during normal usage and under normal conditions be proven defective in material or workmanship that results in product failure within 1 year period from the date of purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired, or replaced (with new or rebuilt parts) with Proof of Purchase, at the Company's option, without charge for parts or labor directly related to the defect(s).
