This is a replacement infrared (IR) remote control designed for various JVC Micro COMPACT COMPONENT Stereo Systems. It provides essential functions for operating your audio system. Please note that while main functions are supported, not all original remote functions may be available, specifically DVD/CD/TAPE functions are not supported by this replacement remote.

2. Configuració

2.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

El comandament a distància requereix dues (2) piles AAA (no incloses).

1. Turn the remote control over to its back side.
2. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
3. Premeu la pestanya i feu lliscar la tapa cap avall per obrir el compartiment.
4. Introduïu dues piles AAA, assegurant-vos que els terminals positiu (+) i negatiu (-) coincideixin amb els diagrames de l'interior del compartiment.
5. Feu lliscar la coberta de la bateria al seu lloc fins que faci un clic de manera segura.

2.2 Ús inicial

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use. Point the remote directly at your JVC stereo system's IR receiver.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

This remote control provides access to the primary functions of your JVC Micro COMPACT COMPONENT Stereo System. Refer to Figure 1 for button layout.

3.1 Power and Basic Controls

• STANDBY ON I/I: Powers the system on or puts it into standby mode.
• VOLUM +/-: Ajusta el nivell de volum principal.
• MUT: Silencia o activa la sortida d'àudio.
• MOSTRA: Changes the display mode on your stereo system.
• DORMIR: Activa la funció del temporitzador de son.
• TEMPORIZADOR: Accesses timer settings.
• AGUTS / BAIXS: Adjusts treble and bass levels.

3.2 Selecció de la font

Use the dedicated buttons to select your desired audio source:

• CD: Selects the CD player input.
• CINTA: Selects the tape deck input.
• Sintonitzador: Selects the radio tuner input.
• AUX: Selects the auxiliary input.

3.3 Number and Navigation Buttons

• 0-9, +10: Used for direct track selection, station tuning, or inputting numbers.
• Botons de fletxa (amunt, avall, esquerra, dreta): For menu navigation or tuning.
• ENTRAR: Confirma les seleccions.
• CANCEL · LAR: Cancels an operation or exits a menu.

3.4 Controls de reproducció

• REPRODUIR (►): Inicia la reproducció.
• ATURAR (■): Atura la reproducció.
• PAUSE (▐▐): Posa en pausa la reproducció.
• FAST FORWARD (►►): Fast forwards through a track.
• REWIND (◄◄): Rewinds through a track.
• SKIP (►▼ / ◄▲): Salta a la pista/emissora següent o anterior.

3.5 Tuner and Other Functions

• REV MODE: Reverses mode (e.g., for tape playback).
• MODE FM: Toggles FM stereo/mono mode.
• AM MODE: Toggles AM mode.
• PRESET: Accesses preset radio stations.
• REC: Initiates recording (if supported by the system).
• SUB PROC: Activates or adjusts subwoofer processing.

Important Note: This replacement remote does not support all functions of the original remote. Specifically, DVD/CD/TAPE functions for advanced features beyond basic source selection and playback may not be available.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Neteja

To clean the remote control, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

4.2 Cura de la bateria

• Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or it stops responding.
• Substitueix sempre les dues piles alhora per unes de noves del mateix tipus (AAA).
• If the remote will not be used for an extended period (e.g., one month or more), remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion.
• Eliminar les bateries usades d'acord amb la normativa local.

5. Solució De Problemes

5.1 El comandament a distància no respon

• Comproveu les bateries: Assegureu-vos que les piles estiguin inserides correctament amb la polaritat correcta (+/-) i que no estiguin esgotades. Substituïu-les per piles AAA noves si cal.
• Línia de visió: Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the IR receiver on your JVC stereo system.
• Distància: Assegureu-vos que esteu dins del rang de funcionament efectiu del comandament a distància.
• Interferència IR: Bright light sources (like direct sunlight or certain types of lighting) can interfere with the IR signal. Try operating the remote in a different lighting condition.

5.2 Funcionalitat limitada

• This is a replacement remote and may not replicate all functions of the original JVC remote. As noted in the operating instructions, specific DVD/CD/TAPE functions beyond basic playback are not supported.
• Verify that your stereo system model is listed as compatible with this remote.
