1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the RUIDIDA series of barcode scanners. These versatile devices offer various connectivity options including wired USB, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth, and are capable of decoding a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes from both paper and digital screens. Designed for ease of use and durability, they are suitable for diverse environments such as supermarkets, stores, libraries, logistics, warehouses, and hospitals.

3.1. Wired Scanners (R10W, R6, R20, R46S)

• R6: 2D wired scanner, scans 1D/2D codes from paper and screen.
• R20: 2D wired scanner, scans 1D/2D codes from paper and screen.

3.2. Wireless Scanners (RU6W, R7W, R20W with Stand, RV6W)

3.3. Bluetooth Scanners (RU6B, RV8B, RV6B)

4. Instruccions de configuració

4.1. Connexió amb cable (USB)

For wired models (R10W, R6, R20, R46S) or when using the wired mode for wireless/Bluetooth models:

1. Connect the scanner to your computer's USB port using the provided USB cable.
2. The scanner is plug-and-play; no additional drivers are typically required. Your operating system (Windows, MacOS, Linux) should automatically recognize the device.

4.2. Connexió sense fil 2.4G

For wireless models (RU6W, R7W, R20W with Stand, RV6W) or when using 2.4G wireless mode for Bluetooth models:

1. Locate the 2.4G wireless receiver (USB dongle). For models like RV6W/RV6B, the receiver is embedded in the charging base. For other models, it might be in the package or stored in the scanner's bottom.

3. Turn on the scanner. It should automatically connect to the receiver. A notification like "Wireless connection successful" may appear.

4.3. Connexió Bluetooth

For Bluetooth models (RU6B, RV8B, RV6B):

2. On your device (phone, iPad, laptop), open Bluetooth settings.
3. Cerca available devices and select "Barcode Scanner" to connect. No other settings are typically required.

5.2. Modes de lectura

You can switch between two primary reading modes:

• Key Trigger (Default Setting): Press the trigger button to initiate a scan.
• Auto-Induction: The scanner automatically detects a barcode when it passes within its scanning range and activates the scan. When not in use, the light will turn off.

5.3. OLED Display (RV8B, RV6B models)

Certain models feature an OLED display that provides useful information:

• Nivell de bateria: Indicates the current charge of the scanner's battery.
• Recompte: Displays the number of barcodes scanned.
• Bluetooth/Wireless Connection: Shows the status of your connection.
• Barcode Data: The scanned barcode data can be displayed directly on the screen.

5.4. Function Button (RV8B model)

On models with a function button (e.g., RV8B), pressing it twice consecutively allows you to switch freely between normal scanning mode and inventory mode.

In Automatic Induction Scan Mode, the scanner's shutdown time can be configured. Refer to the specific setting barcodes in your quick setup guide to adjust the sleep time (e.g., 5, 8, 10, or 15 seconds).

6. Manteniment

6.1. Atenció general

• Keep the scanner clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Avoid exposing the scanner to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

6.3. Battery Charging (Wireless/Bluetooth models)

The 2000mAh battery provides extended usage. To charge, connect the USB cable to the scanner (or its charging base) and a power source. Full charge time is approximately 3 hours.

7. Solució De Problemes

• Scanner not reading certain barcodes: If some barcodes (especially uncommon, long, or complex ones) cannot be scanned, it might be due to a closed program setting. Please contact support for assistance; you may need to scan a specific setting code to enable decoding for these types.
• How to turn off the sound (buzzer): Refer to the 'Buzzer settings' section in your quick setup guide. There should be a specific barcode to scan to turn off the buzzer.
• Wireless scanner charging: Wireless models typically charge via a standard USB cable, similar to a printer cable. For models with a charging base, connect the USB cable to the base.

• Enabling Specific Barcodes: Some less common barcode programs may be disabled by default. If a barcode cannot be scanned, check your quick setup guide for specific setting barcodes that can enable these programs.
