The BAFANG BBS01B mid-drive kit is compatible with bicycles featuring a bottom bracket length of 68-73mm and an internal diameter of 34-36mm (JIS standard). It is NOT recommended for bikes with carbon fiber frames or coaster brakes.

For 73mm bottom brackets, extra gaskets and longer screws may be required. For 90-100mm or 110-120mm bottom brackets, specific gaskets are needed. Please ensure your bike's inner diameter is not less than 33.5mm.
5.2 Chainring Selection
When converting to an e-bike, the chainring size's impact on speed is less significant due to motor power. A larger chainring generally results in higher top speeds. Ensure the chosen chainring is compatible with your bike's existing gear system (typically ≤9 speed).

The kit offers two brake system options: traditional brake levers or brake sensors. If your bike uses hydraulic brakes, you will need to use the brake sensors. If you prefer brake sensors, please contact the seller as brake levers are the default inclusion.
