3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Instal·lació física

The controller features a die-cast aluminum structure for efficient heat dissipation, ensuring continuous and stable charging. Mount the controller in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for air circulation.

Follow the wiring diagram carefully to ensure correct and safe connection of your solar system components. Incorrect wiring can damage the controller or other components.

3.3 Connection Order

  1. Connect the battery to the charge controller first. Ensure correct polarity.
  2. Connect the solar panel (PV array) to the charge controller. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Connect the load to the charge controller. Ensure correct polarity.

Always disconnect in the reverse order: Load -> Solar Panel -> Battery.

4.2 Load Operating Modes

The controller offers four distinct load operating modes. The default setting is continuous load operation (24 hours). You can select the appropriate mode based on your application needs.

  • LD1 (Regular Mode): The load operates normally and can be turned on or off manually.
  • LD2 (Light Control Mode): The load automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn.
  • LD3 (Light & Time Control Mode): The load turns on at dusk and operates for a set number of hours, then turns off. It automatically identifies dark and light conditions based on the local environment.
  • LD4 (Reverse Light Control Mode): The load automatically turns on at dawn and off at dusk.

4.3 Configuració del tipus de bateria

The controller supports various battery types including User default, Sealed, Flooded, GEL, LiFePo4, and Li(NiCoMn)O2. Ensure the correct battery type is selected in the controller settings to optimize charging and prevent damage to your battery. Refer to the specifications table for specific voltage paràmetres per a cada tipus de bateria.

The ANERN AN-MSC-60A controller is equipped with multiple protection features to ensure the safety and longevity of your solar system.

  • Solar Panel Reversed: Protection against reverse connection of the solar panel if the battery is not connected.
  • Battery Reversed: Protection against reverse connection of the battery if the PV is unconnected.

  • Controller Not Functioning / No Display:
    • Check battery connections: Ensure the battery is properly connected and has sufficient voltage. The controller requires battery power to operate.
    • Verify wiring: Double-check all wiring according to the diagram, paying close attention to polarity.
    • Inspect fuses/breakers: Ensure any inline fuses or circuit breakers in the system are not tripped or blown.

    • Check solar panel connections: Ensure PV array is correctly connected to the controller with proper polarity.
    • Verify solar panel output: Measure the voltage and current of your solar panels to ensure they are producing power.

    • Check load connections: Ensure the load is correctly wired to the controller.
    • Verify load mode: Confirm the selected load operating mode (e.g., LD1, LD2) is appropriate for your needs.
    • Bateria voltage: Si la bateria voltage is too low (below LVD), the controller will disconnect the load to protect the battery.
    • Overload protection: If the load current exceeds the controller's rated discharge current, the overload protection may activate. Reduce the load.
