2. Configuració

    The laser module requires a 12V 1.6A power adapter. Refer to the table below for compatibility solutions:

  2. Check the port of the main control board on your engraving machine:

    Locate the PWM port, GND port, and VCC port on your machine's main board. Connect the laser module accordingly.

2.2 Instruccions de connexió

The laser module uses a 3PIN input interface. Ensure correct wiring to the main board.

If your machine's main board has different pin configurations, you may need a P-DA-01 Driver Adapter.

2.3 Ajust del focus

The laser module features an adjustable focus lens. Rotate the knob on the laser head to adjust the focal length for optimal performance.

  • For Cutting: 35mm (LT-40W-A-GOLD) or 50mm (general recommendation)

3.1 Materials suportats

The laser module can engrave and cut a wide range of materials. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

3.4 Precaucions de seguretat

Always wear appropriate laser safety glasses when operating the laser module. Never look directly into the laser beam. Ensure proper ventilation in your workspace to dissipate fumes from cutting and engraving materials.

4. Manteniment

The laser module is designed for high reliability with a lifetime of up to 20,000 hours.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, keep the laser lens clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and appropriate lens cleaning solution if necessary. Avoid touching the lens directly.

5. Solució De Problemes

Issue: The laser module is connected, the fan runs but the laser is not on.

Solucions:

  1. Check Signal Port (PWM) Match: Please check if the signal port (PWM) is well matched. If you are not sure which port on the main board is "PWM", please check with the main board seller.
  2. Power Cycle and Reconnect:
    • Power off the engraving machine.
    • Disconnect the cable of the laser module from the main board.
    • Reconnect the laser head to the main board and restart your engraving machine.

  • Tall de fusta: Yes, the LT-20W-A module can cut wood, particularly thinner plywood (1-2mm in one pass). For thicker wood, multiple passes or a higher power module like the LT-40W-A-GOLD may be required. Always refer to the Material Test Sheet for specific capabilities.
  • Laser Pointer Use: These laser modules are designed for industrial engraving and cutting applications. They are not intended for use as handheld laser pointers due to their high power output and potential safety risks. Modifying the focus lens for such purposes is not recommended and can be dangerous.
