1. Introducció

The SONOFF DUALR3 Lite is a flush-mounted Wi-Fi smart dual relay switch module designed to transform any standard switch into a smart switch. It enables wireless remote control via mobile devices or voice commands, integrating your home appliances into a smart network. This module is ideal for controlling lights, home appliances, and motorized facilities such as roller shutters, window shades, blinds, and awnings.

DUALR3 Lite vs. DUALR3 (Standard)

It is important to note the differences between the DUALR3 Lite and the standard DUALR3 module:

5. Instal·lació

Before proceeding with installation, ensure the power is OFF at the main circuit breaker to prevent electric shock. All wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician.

5.1 Instruccions de cablejat

Important: Do not pull the wire directly from the live wire to the S1/S2 external switch. All connections to S1/S2 must originate from the DUALR3 Lite device itself.

Motor Mode Wiring (e.g., for Roller Shutters)

This mode is suitable for four-wire tubular motors. Connect the motor to the L Out 1 and L Out 2 terminals for forward and reverse operation. External momentary switches can be connected to S1 and S2 for manual control.

Switch Mode Wiring (e.g., for Lights)

In Switch Mode, the DUALR3 Lite controls two output loads independently. You can connect existing physical switches (momentary, rocker, or ON/OFF) to S1 and S2 to retain manual control alongside app control.

Dry Contact Sensor Wiring (Follow Mode)

The DUALR3 Lite can also be used in Follow Mode with dry contact sensors. This allows the device to respond to signals from external sensors.

Ensure the neutral wire and live wire connections are correct. The device can still function if no physical light switch is connected to S1/S2. If S1/S2 are connected to physical switches, the corresponding working mode must be selected in the eWeLink APP.

5.2 Muntatge

The DUALR3 Lite is designed for flush-mounted installation, typically behind a standard wall switch or within a junction box. It also features a detachable mounting base for DIN-Rail installation.

6. Configuració

6.1 Baixeu l'aplicació eWeLink

The SONOFF DUALR3 Lite is controlled via the eWeLink app. Download it from your device's app store:

• For Android: Search "eWeLink" on Google Play.
• For iOS: Search "eWeLink" on the App Store.

6.2 Power On and Pairing Mode

After powering on the DUALR3 Lite for the first time, it will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The Wi-Fi LED indicator will flash in a cycle of two short flashes and one long flash.

• If the device is not paired within 3 minutes, it will exit Bluetooth pairing mode.
• To re-enter pairing mode, long-press the configuration button on the device for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes in the two short, one long cycle.

6.3 Add Device to eWeLink App

6.4 Compatible Pairing Mode (if Bluetooth pairing fails)

If Bluetooth pairing is unsuccessful, you can try the "Compatible Mode" for pairing:

1. Long-press the pairing button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes in a cycle of two short flashes and one long flash.
2. Long-press the pairing button again for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes quickly. The device is now in Compatible Pairing Mode.
3. In the eWeLink app, tap "+" and select "Add Device", then choose "Compatible Mode".
4. For Android: Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi SSID starting with "ITEAD-******" (password: 12345678). Return to the eWeLink app and tap "Next".
5. For iOS: In your phone's Wi-Fi settings, find and record the device ID from the "ITEAD-**********" SSID. In the eWeLink app, tap "+", select "Scan QR code", then "Add manually" and enter the recorded device ID.

7. Operating the DUALR3 Lite

Once paired, you can control your DUALR3 Lite using the eWeLink app, voice commands, or connected physical switches.

7.4 Automated Motorized Facilities

In Motor Mode, the DUALR3 Lite can automate various motorized facilities, enhancing comfort and convenience:

• Roller Blinds/Shutters: Schedule opening and closing times to align with your daily routine or sunlight.
• Cortines: Automatically open curtains to wake up with natural light or close them for privacy and atmosphere.
• Awnings: Control awnings remotely to protect against sun or rain.

8. Manteniment

8.1 Switch Network

If you need to change the Wi-Fi network your DUALR3 Lite is connected to:

1. Long-press the pairing button on the device for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes in a cycle of two short flashes and one long flash.
2. The device will then enter Bluetooth pairing mode, allowing you to pair it with the new network via the eWeLink app.

8.2 Restabliment de fàbrica

To restore your DUALR3 Lite to its factory settings, delete the device from the eWeLink app. This action will reset all configurations on the device.

9. Solució De Problemes

9.1 Fail to Pair Wi-Fi Devices with eWeLink App

1. Mode de sincronització: Ensure the device is in pairing mode (Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes two short, one long). The device automatically exits pairing mode if not paired within 3 minutes.
2. Serveis d'ubicació: Turn on location services on your mobile phone and grant permission to the eWeLink app. Location information is used to obtain Wi-Fi list details.

6. Mode compatible: If standard Bluetooth pairing fails, try pairing using the Compatible Mode (refer to Section 6.4).

9.2 Wi-Fi Devices "Offline" Issues

If the Wi-Fi LED indicator blinks once every 2 seconds, it means the device failed to connect to the router. Check the following:

• Incorrect SSID/Password: Double-check your Wi-Fi SSID and password. Ensure no special characters (e.g., Hebrew, Arabic) are used, as the system may not recognize them.
• Router Capacity: Your router might have a low carrying capacity. If the number of connected devices exceeds the maximum, remove some devices or upgrade your router.
• Intensitat del senyal: The Wi-Fi signal might be weak due to distance from the router or obstacles. Move the device closer or remove obstructions.
• Gestió MAC: Ensure the device's MAC address is not blacklisted in your router's MAC management settings.

If the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes twice repeatedly, it means the device connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Check the following:

• Connexió a Internet: Verify your internet connection is working normally (e.g., by browsing on your phone or PC).
• Router Capacity: As above, check if your router's capacity is exceeded.
• ISP Blocking: Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to confirm that the eWeLink server addresses are not being blocked.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, submit your problem via the "Help & Feedback" section in the eWeLink App.

• Version Clarity: Always confirm you are using the DUALR3 Lite model, as it has specific feature limitations compared to the standard DUALR3, particularly regarding power metering and overload protection.
