1. Introducció

The KERUI D2 Wireless Door/Window Alarm System is a versatile security device designed to protect your home, garage, or office. This system functions as an alarm host, capable of detecting unauthorized entry through doors and windows. It can also be integrated with additional wireless sensors such as PIR motion detectors, smoke detectors, and emergency buttons, providing a comprehensive security solution. The alarm emits a loud 120dB sound upon activation to deter intruders.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

  1. Gently slide open the back cover of the main alarm unit.
  2. Introduïu dues (2) piles AAA d'1.5 V, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).

4.2 Mounting the Door/Window Sensor

  1. Identify a clean, dry, and stable surface on your door/window frame (for the main unit) and the door/window itself (for the magnetic strip). Avoid unstable or easily broken surfaces.
  2. Remove the protective film from the double-sided adhesive pads.
  3. Attach one adhesive pad to the back of the main alarm unit and the other to the back of the magnetic strip.
  4. Carefully align the main alarm unit and the magnetic strip. They should be mounted parallel to each other, with the alignment marks facing each other, and be no more than 1 cm apart when the door/window is closed.
  5. Press firmly for a few seconds to ensure secure adhesion.
  6. Locate the power switch on the side of the main unit and slide it to the 'ON' position to activate the sensor.

4.3 Pairing Remote Controls and Additional Detectors

The KERUI D2 system supports up to 20 remote controls and 40 additional detectors (PIR sensors, smoke detectors, etc.).

  1. Ensure the main alarm unit is powered on.
  2. Press the 'Setting button' on the side of the main alarm unit. The indicator light will typically flash or change color, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. While the main unit is in pairing mode, activate the remote control (e.g., press an arm/disarm button) or trigger the additional detector (e.g., wave hand in front of PIR sensor).
  4. The main unit will emit a confirmation sound or the indicator light will change again to confirm successful pairing.
  5. Repeat for all additional remote controls and detectors.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Armar el sistema

To arm the system, press the 'Arm' button (often represented by a closed padlock or similar icon) on your remote control. The main unit's indicator light may flash or change color to confirm the system is armed.

5.2 Desarmament del sistema

To disarm the system, press the 'Disarm' button (often represented by an open padlock or similar icon) on your remote control. The main unit's indicator light will confirm the system is disarmed.

5.3 Alarm Trigger

When the system is armed, an alarm will be triggered if:

  • The magnetic strip separates from the main door/window sensor unit (e.g., a door or window is opened).
  • A paired PIR motion detector senses movement.
  • Any other paired detector (e.g., smoke detector, emergency button) is activated.

Upon trigger, the main unit will emit a loud 120dB alarm sound and its LED lights will flash for 1 second.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Substitució de la bateria

The main alarm unit is powered by two AAA 1.5V batteries. When the batteries are low, the unit will emit a 'du du du...' sound as a reminder. To replace the batteries:

  1. Slide open the back cover of the main alarm unit.
  2. Traieu les piles velles.
  3. Insert two new AAA 1.5V batteries, observing correct polarity.

6.2 Neteja

To clean the device, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these may damage the unit.
