1. Introducció

The RETEKESS TR630 is a versatile multi-function CD radio designed for various audio playback and recording needs. It features FM/AM radio, CD/CD-R/RW/MP3 player, cassette tape playback and recording, and USB/TF card input for digital audio. 2.1. Seguretat General

• Do not use this product near water or moisture (e.g., bathtubs, washbasins, kitchen sinks, wet basements, swimming pools).

4. Configuració

Before connecting AC power or installing batteries, ensure the function switch (17) is set to the OFF position.

4.1. Font d'alimentació

Plug one end of the AC power cord into the AC~ Socket (1) on the back of the unit and the other end into a standard 110V-60Hz (US) or 220V-50Hz (European) household power outlet.

• When the AC plug is inserted, battery power will be automatically cut off.
• The power supply is not completely cut off when the unit is in the OFF position; always unplug the power cord to fully cut off power.
• Always hold the plug part when unplugging the AC power cord.
• Do not touch the AC power plug with wet hands.

4.1.2. Funcionament amb bateria

For portable use, the unit can be powered by 6*D (UM-1 type) batteries (not included).

1. Slide the Battery Compartment (28) out and lift it off.
2. Insert 6*1.5V UM-1 type batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram inside the compartment.

5.1. CD / USB / TF Card Playback

5.1.1. CD/MP3 Playback

1. Slide the Function Selector (17) to the 'CD' position.
2. Open the CD door (15) and place a CD disc (CD/CD-R/RW/MP3 format) on the center spindle with the correct direction.
3. Close the CD door. Playback will begin after detection.
4. Press Play/Pause Button (12) to pause, press again to resume.
5. Turn the Volume Control Knob (18) to adjust the volume.
6. Press Previous Song (8) and Next Song (7) to select tracks.
7. Press Stop Button (13) to stop playback.

5.1.2. Reproducció de targetes USB/TF

1. Insert a USB disk or TF card with MP3 format files into the USB/TF Card Socket (4).
2. Slide the Function Selector (17) to the 'USB/TF' position. Playback will begin after detection. (WMA format fileno són compatibles).

5.1.3. Repeat Mode

Press the Repeat Button (14) repeatedly to cycle through repeat modes:

• One press: Single song repeat mode ('' shows on display).

• Four presses: Cancel repeat mode.

1. In stop state, press the Program Button (14) to enter program setting.
2. Use Previous Song (8) and Next Song (7) to select the track to program.
3. Press the Program Button (14) to confirm.
4. Press Play Button (12) to play programmed tracks.
5. Press Stop Button (13) to stop playing if needed.

1. Slide the Function Selector (17) to the 'Radio' position.
2. Press the Band Selection Button (26) repeatedly to select AM or FM band.

5.2.1. For Better Reception

5.3. Cassette Tape Player Operation

1. Slide the Function Selector (17) to the 'Tape' position.
2. Press the Stop/Cassette Tape Door Open Button (20) to open the Cassette Tape Door (27).
3. Insert a cassette tape correctly and close the door.
4. Press Play Button (23) to play the tape.
5. Turn the Volume Control Knob (18) to adjust the volume.
6. Press Stop/Cassette Tape Door Open Button (20) to stop playback.
7. Press Play/Pause Button (19) to pause, press again to resume.
8. Press Fast Forward Button (21) or Fast Backward Button (22) for fast forward or rewind.

5.4.1. Transferring Music from Disc to USB Device or TF Card

1. Slide the Function Selector (17) to the 'CD' position.
2. Close the CD Door (15) after placing a CD disc.
3. Insert a USB / TF card into the USB / TF Card Socket (4).
4. Long press the Record Button (6) to record the sound of the disc.
5. Long press the Record Button (6) again to exit recording mode.

5.4.2. Transferring Music from Cassette Tape to USB Device or TF Card

1. Slide the Function Selector (17) to the 'Tape' position.
2. Press Stop/Cassette Tape Door Open Button (20) to open the Cassette Tape Door (27).
3. Insert the tape to be recorded and close the door.

6.2. Head Cleaning (Cassette Player)

After every 10 hours of tape playback, clean the magnetic head and pinch roller spindle. Use cotton with cleaning fluid or alcohol, or use dry/wet cleaning tapes.

6.3. Preventing Accidental Erase (Cassette)

After recording, use a screwdriver or sharp tool to break the scratch-proof film on the tape to expose the scratch-proof hole.

6.4. Re-recording on Tape

Cover the tape scratch-proof hole with adhesive tape to record again.

If you encounter issues with your RETEKESS TR630, refer to the following common solutions:

• CD/USB/TF Playback Issues: Ensure the disc/USB/TF card is inserted correctly and the Function Selector (17) is in the correct position. For CDs, ensure it's not an irregularly shaped disc. Do not put more than one disc in the CD compartment.
• Radio Interference/Noise: If the unit produces noise due to nearby appliances (e.g., TV, computer, fluorescent light), move the unit to another location. For FM radio, adjust the length and angle of the FM Telescope Antenna (16).
• Error Message on Display/Malfunctions: Cut off the power (unplug AC or remove batteries) and then restart the device.

• MP3 CD Playback: The TR630 supports playing MP3 files from CDs, not just standard audio CDs. Ensure your MP3 CDs are properly burned for compatibility.
