1. Introducció

The Excelvan Wireless Weather Station provides accurate, real-time weather information and forecasts directly from your home. Utilizing self-calibration technology, it offers personalized forecasts with five distinct icons: Sunny, Partially Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, and Storm. This self-calibration is based on weather data measured by the outdoor sensor, ensuring the most precise forecast for your specific location.

The main unit features a large LCD screen with a backlight, displaying indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, moon phase, barometric pressure trend and history for the last 12 hours, weather icons, sunrise/sunset times, moonrise/moonset times, 3 comfort levels (comfortable, dry, humid), dual alarms, and the current time and date. The smart clock automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (summer/winter time). Both the main station and the remote sensor are designed for vertical placement on a desktop or wall mounting.

3.2 Sensor remot sense fil

The remote sensor transmits outdoor temperature and humidity data to the main unit. It has its own small display and can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Unitat principal: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit (refer to Figure 3.2). Insert 2 x AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
2. Sensor remot: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote sensor (refer to Figure 3.4). Insert 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

Note: Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. Always replace all batteries at the same time.

4.2 Emparellament de sensors

After inserting batteries into both units, the main unit will automatically search for the remote sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display. If the connection is not established, press the 'SEARCH' button on the back of the main unit to initiate a manual search.

4.3 Configuració inicial

Upon successful pairing, you may need to set the time, date, and preferred units.

• Hora i data: Use the 'MODE' button to cycle through settings and '+' / '-' buttons to adjust values.

• Altitude/Barometric Pressure: Set your local altitude above sea level for accurate barometric pressure readings.

4.4 Col·locació

• Unitat principal: Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, on a stable surface or wall-mounted.
• Sensor remot: Place the remote sensor outdoors in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate readings. Ensure it is within the effective transmission range of 50 meters from the main unit.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Mostra informació

The large LCD display provides a comprehensive overview of weather data:

• Temperatura i humitat interiors/exteriors: Current readings with trend indicators.
• Pronòstic del temps: Icons (Sunny, Partially Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, Storm) indicating the predicted weather.
• Pressió baromètrica: Current pressure and history for the last 12 hours.

• Hora i data: Current time (12/24 HR format) and date, including day of the week.
• Sunrise/Sunset & Moonrise/Moonset: Calculated times for 150 European cities.
• Nivells de confort: Indicates comfortable, dry, or humid conditions.

5.2 Funcions d'alarma

The weather station features a dual alarm setting. Use the 'ALARM' button to set and activate alarms. When an alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button (Figure 3.3) to temporarily silence it for a few minutes. Pressing any other button will turn off the alarm for the day.

5.3 Radio-Controlled Clock (RCC)

The clock automatically synchronizes with a radio signal to ensure accurate timekeeping, including automatic adjustment for Daylight Saving Time (DST).

5.4 Multiple Sensors (Optional)

The main unit supports up to 3 outdoor sensors. If you have additional sensors, you can select the channel (1, 2, or 3) to view data from each sensor. Use the 'MODE' or 'CHANNEL' button (if available) to cycle through the sensor channels.

6. Manteniment

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in both the main unit and the remote sensor promptly. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1.

6.2 Neteja

         4. Avoid major metal obstructions or electronic interference between the units.
• Lectures inexactes:
         1. Ensure the remote sensor is placed in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can skew temperature readings.
         2. Verify that the main unit is also away from direct heat or cold sources indoors.
• La pantalla no funciona:
         1. Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
         2. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
• Time Not Synchronizing (RCC):
         1. Place the main unit near a window for better signal reception.
         2. Avoid placing the unit near electronic devices that may cause interference.

• Regularly check and replace batteries in both units to ensure continuous and reliable operation, especially before extreme weather conditions.
