This appliance must be installed in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, or the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1.

Ensure adequate ventilation when operating the water heater, especially in enclosed spaces. Never install this unit in a bathroom or other unventilated room.

Desembalatge

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the 'Package Contents' section are present and undamaged.

Selecció d'una ubicació

The water heater is designed for wall-mounted installation. Choose a location that is well-ventilated and protected from direct weather exposure if installed outdoors. Avoid installing in bathrooms or other unventilated indoor spaces to prevent the risk of toxic gas leakage.

Connecting Gas and Water

1. Connexió de gas: Connect the LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) supply to the gas inlet. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free. Use a gas pressure regulator appropriate for LPG (2800 Pa).
2. Connexions d'aigua: Connect the water inlet and outlet using standard G1/2" copper pipe connectors. Ensure the rubber gas hose has an outer diameter of φ 0.79". The connectors include filtration mesh to prevent impurities from entering the system.
3. Smoke Exhaust: The smoke exhaust pipe outlet is 4.5" in diameter. A smoke exhaust pipe is not included and must be installed separately according to local regulations.

Instal·lació de la bateria

Insert two 1.5V D-Type batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the unit. These batteries power the ignition system.

Engegar l'escalfador d'aigua

1. Ensure the gas supply is open and water is flowing to the unit.
2. The water heater will automatically ignite when water flow is detected and the gas supply is on.

Ajust de la temperatura de l'aigua

Use the control knobs on the front panel to adjust the water temperature:

• Maneta del regulador de gas: Rotate clockwise to increase gas supply and thus increase water temperature.
• Maneta del regulador d'aigua: Rotate clockwise to adjust water flow, which also affects temperature. Higher flow generally means lower temperature, and lower flow means higher temperature (within the unit's capacity).
• The water temperature can be adjusted between 50 °F (10℃) and 140 °F (60℃).

Summer/Winter Mode

Select the appropriate mode using the dedicated knob:

• Mode d'estiu: Activates low-level fire power, suitable for warmer ambient temperatures to save gas.
• Mode d'hivern: Activates high-level fire power, suitable for colder ambient temperatures to ensure sufficient heating.

Manteniment

Un manteniment regular garanteix la longevitat i el funcionament eficient del vostre escalfador d'aigua.

• Neteja: Netegeu periòdicament l'exterior de la unitat amb un drap suau i sec.amp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius.
• Filtre d'aigua: Check and clean the filtration mesh in the water inlet/outlet connectors regularly to prevent blockages from impurities.
• Substitució de la bateria: Replace the D-Type batteries when the ignition becomes weak or fails to start.
• Connexions de gas: Periodically check gas connections for any signs of leaks or wear. Use a soapy water solution to detect gas leaks (bubbles indicate a leak).
• Inspecció professional: It is recommended to have the unit inspected by a qualified technician annually, especially for gas components and safety features.

Resolució de problemes

If you encounter issues with your water heater, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Sense aigua calenta:
  
  • Check if the gas supply is open and the gas tank has sufficient fuel.
  • Ensure water is flowing through the unit. The heater requires water flow to activate.
  • Verify that the D-Type batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge.
  • Check gas and water control knobs are set appropriately.
• Aigua no prou calenta:
  
  • Adjust the gas regulator knob to increase gas flow.
  • Ensure the unit is in Winter Mode if operating in cold conditions.
  • Reduce water flow using the water regulator knob to allow more time for heating.
• La unitat no s'encén:
  
  • Comproveu les bateries.
  • Ensure sufficient water flow and gas supply.
  • Listen for the ignition click. If no click, batteries might be dead or ignition system faulty.
• Olor de fuita de gas:
  
  • Tanqueu immediatament el subministrament de gas.
