Before starting, ensure your CNC machine is powered off and disconnected from the power source. Always wear appropriate laser safety glasses when working with the laser module.

5.1 Attaching the Laser Module

1. Mount the laser module securely onto your CNC machine's gantry using the provided mounting bracket. Ensure it is stable and aligned correctly.
2. Connect the 3-pin input cable from the laser module to the appropriate port on your CNC control board. The cable is 80cm long.

5.2 Driver Adapter (for KIT version)

If you have the LT-40W-F23-KIT, you may use the P-DA-01 Driver Adapter for power management. This adapter allows you to switch between external power or power provided by the control board.

1. Connect the laser head to the 'Laser Head' output on the P-DA-01 adapter.
2. Connect your control board to the 'Control Board' input (either 3PIN or 4PIN depending on your board).
3. Connect a 12V/24V power adapter to the '12V/24V Power Adapter' input.
4. Use the 'Power Switch' on the adapter to select between 'External Power' (power provided by external power adapter) or 'Internal Power' (power provided by control board of machine).

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your laser module.
