1. Introducció

6. Instal·lació

Professional installation by a qualified electrician is highly recommended.

1. Preparació: Ensure the main power supply is OFF before starting any electrical work. Gather necessary tools (drill, screwdriver, wire strippers, etc.).
2. Lloc de muntatge: Choose a suitable, flat surface for mounting. Consider the dimensions of your specific distribution box model (refer to Section 4).
3. Marcatge: Use the distribution box as a template to mark the drilling points for mounting screws.
4. Perforació: Drill holes at the marked points. Insert wall plugs if mounting on masonry.
5. Muntatge de la caixa: Securely attach the distribution box to the wall using the provided screws.
6. Entrada de cable: The box features pre-marked knockouts for cable entry. Carefully remove the appropriate knockouts for your wiring. Ensure proper cable glands are used to maintain the IP65 rating.
7. Cablejat intern: Install DIN rail-mounted components (e.g., MCBs) inside the box. Connect the incoming and outgoing electrical wires to the terminals of the components as per your electrical diagram and local codes. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
8. Segellat: After all wiring is complete, ensure the cover is properly closed and all seals are intact to maintain the waterproof rating.

7. Funcionament

The GEYA HT Series Distribution Box serves as a protective enclosure for electrical components such as Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs). Its operation is dependent on the installed devices.

• Protecció de circuits: The installed MCBs will automatically trip and cut off power in case of overcurrent or short circuit, protecting your electrical system.
• Control manual: MCBs can be manually switched ON or OFF to control power to specific circuits.
• Llums indicadores: If equipped with MCBs that have indicator lights, these will show the status (ON/OFF/Tripped) of the individual circuits.

8. Manteniment

• Inspecció periòdica: Periodically inspect the distribution box for any signs of damage, loose connections, or water ingress.
• Neteja: Clean the exterior of the box with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the clear cover remains clean for visibility of internal components.
• Integritat del segell: Check the integrity of the rubber seals around the cover and cable entries. Replace any damaged seals to maintain the IP65 rating.
• Comprovació interna (només personal qualificat): For internal inspection or maintenance, always disconnect power. Check for dust accumulation, corrosion, or loose wiring.

9. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your distribution box, consider the following:

• No Power to a Circuit: Check if the corresponding MCB is in the 'ON' position. If it's tripped, reset it. If it trips again immediately, there might be an overload or short circuit in that specific circuit.
• Aigua dins la caixa: Immediately disconnect power. Inspect all cable entries and the main cover seal for damage or improper installation. Ensure cable glands are tightened correctly.
• Connexions soltes: If you suspect loose wiring (e.g., flickering lights, intermittent power), have a qualified electrician inspect and tighten all connections.
• Danys físics: If the box is physically damaged (cracks, broken hinges), it may compromise its waterproof and protective features. Replace the damaged box immediately.
