5.1 Power Connection (Plug and Play)
The Fitcamx Dash Cam is designed for a plug-and-play installation, primarily drawing power from your vehicle's auto-dimming rear view mirror. This method ensures no damage to your car's original wiring.

By default, a plug-and-play cable for the auto-dimming rear view mirror is provided. If you require a fuse box cable or OBD cable for alternative power sources, please contact the seller.

Installation is designed to be straightforward, replacing the original rearview mirror cover for a seamless, factory-integrated look.

For dual camera versions, the 1080P rear camera can be mounted on the rear windshield or facing the cabin. It connects to the front camera via a hard-wired cable.

The Fitcamx Dash Cam is designed for automatic operation. It will automatically turn on when your car starts and turn off when your car is switched off. You do not need to manually connect to the camera's WiFi or open the app every time you drive for basic recording functionality.
6.2 WiFi & Mobile App Connection
The Fitcamx App (available for Apple iOS & Android) allows you to view viu footage, manage settings, and download recorded videos directly to your smartphone.

Per connectar:
- Download the 'FITCAMX' app from your device's app store.
- Enable WiFi on your smartphone and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network. (The default WiFi name and password can be found in the app or by resetting the camera if forgotten).
- Open the FITCAMX app to access features.

The dash cam features seamless loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new content when the memory card is full. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden collisions or impacts. When an event is detected, the relevant footage is automatically saved and locked to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording, providing crucial evidence in case of an accident.

6.4 Video Quality & Night Vision
Equipped with an advanced Novatek chip and f/1.6 large aperture lens, the Fitcamx dash cam delivers clear videos up to 2160P (4K) resolution. The CMOS sensor enhances image performance, capturing more driving details.

The dash cam also features superior night vision, utilizing wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. This ensures that video is displayed in optimal condition, capturing vivid details like license plates and road signs clearly, even in low-light conditions.

If you encounter issues with your Fitcamx Dash Cam, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Problem 1: Apple iPhone connection failed
- Solució:
- First, turn off the Cellular Data in your phone settings, then connect to the camera's WiFi.
- If your phone is connected to the car's CarPlay, you need to turn off Bluetooth, and then connect to the camera's WiFi.
- Check whether the album and network permissions for the Fitcamx App have been granted. (Album permission is only used to save videos and pictures recorded by the camera into the phone album).
- Problem 2: Android phone connection failure
- Solució:
- After connecting to the camera's WiFi, your phone may prompt that you can't access the Internet. Please click "Keep WLAN Connection".

- Problem 5: Computer playback issues (videos not playing or not smooth)

- We recommend using PotPlayer and KMPlayer for video playback.
- If your computer's specifications are too low, it may cause playback to be choppy, especially for 4K resolution videos.
- Problem 6: Cannot connect 2 phones at the same time
- Solució: The camera's WiFi only supports connecting one phone at a time. If another phone needs to connect, the first phone's WiFi connection must be disconnected.
- Problem 7: Video timestamp is wrong, no recorded video during some periods, or video only records when phone is connected

- Problem 9: Do I need to connect the camera WiFi and open the App every time I drive?
- Solució: No, the camera automatically turns on and off with your car's ignition. The App connection is only needed for viewing footage, changing settings, or downloading files.
- Problem 10: Cannot find the camera's WiFi
- Solució:
- First, remove the memory card and then search for WiFi. A faulty memory card can prevent the camera from broadcasting WiFi.
- Press and hold the camera button for 20 seconds, or use a paper clip to press the reset button to restore factory settings.
- Check if the camera's indicator light is on. If there is no light, it indicates no power supply, and thus no WiFi signal.
