2. Compatibilitat

This Fitcamx Dash Cam is specifically designed for Kia Sportage models from 2017 to 2025. It is crucial to verify compatibility before installation.

Important Compatibility Conditions:

The dash cam is only suitable for models equipped with an Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror. Additionally, verify the original factory plastic cover part number:

• For Kia Sportage 4th Gen: Original Factory Plastic Cover Part Number is 96005-D9100 or 96005-D9000.
• For Kia Sportage 5th Gen: Original Factory Plastic Cover Part Number is 96030-DW010, 96030-P1020, 96030-R2010, 96031-R2910, or 96030-P1910 (for right-hand drive models).

5. Configuració i instal·lació

5.1 Power Connection (Plug and Play)

The Fitcamx Dash Cam is designed for a plug-and-play installation, primarily drawing power from your vehicle's auto-dimming rear view mirror. This method ensures no damage to your car's original wiring.

By default, a plug-and-play cable for the auto-dimming rear view mirror is provided. If you require a fuse box cable or OBD cable for alternative power sources, please contact the seller.

5.2 Instal·lació de la càmera frontal

Installation is designed to be straightforward, replacing the original rearview mirror cover for a seamless, factory-integrated look.

1. Treure la coberta original: Use the provided prying tool to carefully remove the original plastic cover from the front of your rearview muntatge de mirall.

5.3 Rear Camera Installation (for Dual Cam versions)

For dual camera versions, the 1080P rear camera can be mounted on the rear windshield or facing the cabin. It connects to the front camera via a hard-wired cable.

The rear camera is not waterproof and should be installed inside the vehicle.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Funcionament automàtic

The Fitcamx Dash Cam is designed for automatic operation. It will automatically turn on when your car starts and turn off when your car is switched off. You do not need to manually connect to the camera's WiFi or open the app every time you drive for basic recording functionality.

6.2 WiFi & Mobile App Connection

The Fitcamx App (available for Apple iOS & Android) allows you to view viu footage, manage settings, and download recorded videos directly to your smartphone.

Per connectar:

1. Download the 'FITCAMX' app from your device's app store.
2. Enable WiFi on your smartphone and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network. (The default WiFi name and password can be found in the app or by resetting the camera if forgotten).
3. Open the FITCAMX app to access features.

The dash cam features seamless loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new content when the memory card is full. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden collisions or impacts. When an event is detected, the relevant footage is automatically saved and locked to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording, providing crucial evidence in case of an accident.

6.4 Video Quality & Night Vision

Equipped with an advanced Novatek chip and f/1.6 large aperture lens, the Fitcamx dash cam delivers clear videos up to 2160P (4K) resolution. The CMOS sensor enhances image performance, capturing more driving details.

The dash cam also features superior night vision, utilizing wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. This ensures that video is displayed in optimal condition, capturing vivid details like license plates and road signs clearly, even in low-light conditions.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your Fitcamx Dash Cam, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem 1: Apple iPhone connection failed

Solució:

1. First, turn off the Cellular Data in your phone settings, then connect to the camera's WiFi.
2. If your phone is connected to the car's CarPlay, you need to turn off Bluetooth, and then connect to the camera's WiFi.
3. Check whether the album and network permissions for the Fitcamx App have been granted. (Album permission is only used to save videos and pictures recorded by the camera into the phone album).

Problem 2: Android phone connection failure

Solució:

1. After connecting to the camera's WiFi, your phone may prompt that you can't access the Internet. Please click "Keep WLAN Connection".

Problem 3: App cannot save settings (default settings are restored after reboot)

Solució: After setting the App, please press and hold the power button of the camera to turn off the camera, then press the power button briefly to turn on the camera. This saves the settings.

Problem 4: App video file is empty, no video is loaded

Solució:

1. Open the App settings to format the memory card and then record video.
2. If the App album still has no video, insert the memory card into a computer to check if it is damaged or incompatible. If so, replace the memory card.
3. It is recommended to use Class 10 SanDisk/KIOXIA/Samsung memory cards of 32GB or 64GB capacity. (Maximum supported size is 256GB).

Problem 5: Computer playback issues (videos not playing or not smooth)

Solució:

1. We recommend using PotPlayer and KMPlayer for video playback.
2. If your computer's specifications are too low, it may cause playback to be choppy, especially for 4K resolution videos.

Problem 6: Cannot connect 2 phones at the same time

Solució: The camera's WiFi only supports connecting one phone at a time. If another phone needs to connect, the first phone's WiFi connection must be disconnected.

Problem 7: Video timestamp is wrong, no recorded video during some periods, or video only records when phone is connected

Solució: Comproveu si el tempsamp error is due to a complete power failure of the camera. After car repair, maintenance, or battery replacement, you need to reconnect the camera's WiFi with your phone to synchronize the camera's time with your phone's time. Regularly check that the camera is working properly.

Problem 8: Forgot WiFi name or password

Solució: Press and hold the camera key for 20 seconds, or use a paperclip to press the reset button. This will restore factory settings, including the default WiFi credentials.

Problem 9: Do I need to connect the camera WiFi and open the App every time I drive?

Solució: No, the camera automatically turns on and off with your car's ignition. The App connection is only needed for viewing footage, changing settings, or downloading files.

Problem 10: Cannot find the camera's WiFi

Solució:

1. First, remove the memory card and then search for WiFi. A faulty memory card can prevent the camera from broadcasting WiFi.
2. Press and hold the camera button for 20 seconds, or use a paper clip to press the reset button to restore factory settings.
3. Check if the camera's indicator light is on. If there is no light, it indicates no power supply, and thus no WiFi signal.

10. Garantia i Suport
