1. Introducció

This manual provides instructions for the LS VISION 4MP Solar Security Camera (Model: LS-WS16M). This camera is designed for outdoor surveillance, featuring solar power, human/animal detection, two-way audio, and IP66 waterproofing. It is available in both 4G and WiFi versions to suit various connectivity needs.

4. Guia de configuració

4.1 Càrrega inicial

Before first use, ensure the camera's built-in 15000mAh battery is fully charged. Open the power button and charge the camera for approximately 10 hours using the solar panel or a compatible power adapter (not always included).

4.2 SIM Card / Micro SD Card Installation (if applicable)

Locate the SIM card slot and Micro SD card slot on the camera. Insert your 4G SIM card (for 4G version) and/or a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into their respective slots. Ensure the SIM card does not have a PIN password enabled, as this may prevent connection.

4.3 Instal·lació i connexió de l'aplicació

1. Descarrega't el UBox app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) or by scanning the QR code provided in the camera's packaging.

5. Per WiFi cameras, connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Note that WiFi versions do not support 4G SIM cards, and 4G versions do not support WiFi.

The camera is IP66 waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor installation. Use the provided strap or screws to securely mount the camera in your desired location. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight for continuous charging.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Viu View i Control remot

Access the UBox app to view live video feed from your camera anytime, anywhere. Use the app's controls to remotely pan (355°) and tilt (100°) the camera to cover different areas.

5.2 Detecció de moviment i alertes

The camera features advanced human and animal detection. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically begin recording video and send a message push notification to your UBox app. This helps reduce false alarms from other environmental factors.

You can set arbitrary arming times for motion detection alarms within the app settings.

5.3 Àudio bidireccional

Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication. You can speak through the camera via the UBox app and hear audio from the camera's location.

5.4 Modes de visió nocturna

La càmera ofereix tres modes de visió nocturna:

• Visió nocturna en color: Uses white light to provide full-color images in low-light conditions.
• Visió nocturna per infrarojos (IR): Uses infrared LEDs for black and white images in complete darkness.
• Visió nocturna automàtica: The camera intelligently switches between modes based on ambient light.

You can easily change the night vision mode within the live view page of the UBox app.

6. Opcions de connectivitat

The LS VISION Solar Security Camera is available in two distinct versions:

• 4G Camera Version: This version connects exclusively via a 4G SIM card. It does NOT support WiFi connections. This is ideal for locations without WiFi access.
• WiFi Camera Version: This version connects exclusively via a 2.4GHz WiFi network. It does NOT support 4G SIM cards. This is suitable for areas with existing WiFi infrastructure.

Please ensure you have purchased the correct version for your connectivity needs.

7. Emmagatzematge de vídeo

La càmera admet dos mètodes d'emmagatzematge per al vídeo gravat:

• Targeta micro SD: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card up to 128GB (not included) into the designated slot. Motion-triggered recordings will be saved to this card.
• Emmagatzematge al núvol: A 30-day free trial of cloud storage is typically provided. After the trial period, a subscription fee is required to continue using cloud storage services.

When motion detection is activated, the camera quickly records video and saves it to either the SD card or cloud storage, depending on your configuration.

8. Manteniment

8.1 Gestió de la bateria

The camera is powered by a built-in 15000mAh battery, continuously charged by the 5-watt solar panel. For optimal performance, ensure the solar panel is clean and positioned to receive direct sunlight. Regular charging ensures long working times (up to 365 days on a full charge with sufficient sunlight).

8.2 Resistència a la intempèrie

The camera has an IP66 waterproof rating. To maintain this protection, ensure all covers and seals are correctly closed after accessing the SIM or SD card slots. Periodically clean the camera lens and solar panel to ensure clear vision and efficient charging.

Q: 4G camera not connecting / blue lights not on?

A: Check your SIM card's band frequency for compatibility with the camera. Ensure the SIM card has an active data plan and no PIN password enabled. Contact the seller for specific band frequency information if needed.

Q: Cannot format Micro SD card?

A: Try a different Micro SD card. Ensure the card is not locked (check physical lock switch if present). If the issue persists, the card may be faulty or incompatible. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.

Q: Problems with camera-phone connection?

A: Ensure your phone has a stable internet connection. For WiFi cameras, verify the camera is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. For 4G cameras, confirm the SIM card has data and signal. Restart both the camera and your phone, then try reconnecting via the UBox app.

Q: Does the WiFi version require a SIM card?

A: No, the WiFi version operates solely on a 2.4GHz WiFi network and does not use a SIM card. The 4G version requires a SIM card and does not use WiFi.
