1. Informació de seguretat

Continuous Flash Shooting Warning

Warning: Please do not continuously flash with full power for a long time, otherwise it will cause the HD-1 to overheat or age prematurely.

The temperature of the flash head may increase when the flash is continuously fired at full power for a short period of time (approximately 50 shots at full power). To avoid deterioration or damage of the head due to overheating, the HD-1 will automatically activate overheat protection and limit the recycling time. During this limited period, the "OH" overheat icon is displayed, and the recycling time is automatically set to about 4 seconds and about 6 seconds.

Knocking, needling, watering, and treading are harmful to the battery. Keep the battery away from heat sources, flammable gas, sun exposure, microwave, and high pressure. Do NOT dismantle the battery to avoid safety risks. Do NOT charge a battery continuously for over 24 hours. Do NOT use a battery when there is an odor or sound.

3. Configuració

1. Press the battery release key and remove the battery.
2. Insert the battery into the fuselage along the positioning slot as shown by the arrow, and the "Da" sound indicates that the battery has been locked.
3. Mount the battery onto the charging base.
4. Connect the power line to the mains power supply. The red light indicates that charging is in progress, and the green light indicates that it is fully charged.

The HD-1 Flash features a universal hot shoe. For Sony cameras, you may need to select the "Sony Hot Shoe" model or use an adapter.

• Integrated Hot Shoe: Compatible with Canon EOS Series SLR / EOS R Series, Nikon D Series SLR / Z Series, Fuji X Series / GFX Medium format (film), Olympus E Series, Panasonic G Series / S Series.
• Sony Hot Shoe: For Sony camera users, please choose the HD-1(S) version or add a Sony Hot Shoe Adapter.

4. Modes de funcionament

Tap the "Mode" button to switch between different operating modes.

4.1 Speedlite Mode

This is the standard on-camera flash mode.

• TTL (A través de la lent): Automatic flash compensation adjustment (±3.0).
• M (Manual): Power adjustment range from 1.0 to 9.0.

4.2 Wireless Master Mode

Allows the HD-1 to control other compatible JINBEI flashes.

• CH (canal): Selectable from 01 to 31.
• GR ALL (Group All): Adjust power for all groups simultaneously.
• Other settings (TTL, M, SYNC, ZOOM, Modeling Lamp) are similar to Speedlite Mode but apply to controlled groups.

4.3 Wireless Slave Mode

Allows the HD-1 to be controlled by another JINBEI master unit.

• TTL-ALL (Wireless Receiver Mode): Compatible with integrated hot shoe transmitters (TR-Q6II) or remote controls (TRS-V).
• CH/GR (Channel/Group Remote Control): Compatible with TR-V6II.
• GR (Group): Can be assigned to groups A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J/L/O/P/Q/S/U.
• Other settings (TTL, M, SYNC, ZOOM, Modeling Lamp) are similar to Speedlite Mode.

To facilitate the differentiation of multi-light collaboration, a two-color screen visual recognition function is added. The backlight in set-top and master mode is blue, the backlight in slave mode is orange. (Note: The specific discoloration will be subject to the actual product received.)

5. Basic Function Settings Menu

Long press the middle 2 of the 4 multi-functional buttons to enter the setting interface.

• Camera Brand Selection: Adjust wireless communication mode to match your camera brand (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Olympus, Lumix, Canon-RT). Confirm with the return button.
• AF Focus Light: Select ON or OFF to use the AF focus assist light.
• Buzz: Select ON or OFF for the beep sound.
• Apagat automàtic: Set automatic shutdown time (OFF, 05/15/30 minutes).
• SYNC-X (Single Contact Mode): Seleccioneu ON o OFF.

• Display (Power Value): Select to show power value with Fraction or Decimal.

6. Accessories and Light Shaping

The HD-1 features a four-claw bayonet for easy attachment of various light-shaping accessories.

Magnetic light-shaping accessories are available to easily control and shape light, allowing for creative effects and different colors.

The custom Fresnel lens offers high temperature resistance and improves performance in continuous shooting, making the light more uniform.

8. Manteniment

Lithium Battery Maintenance

1. According to industry standards, a lithium battery supports 300~500 complete charge cycles in its lifespan. The capacity of a lithium battery decreases with use. A complete charge cycle means charging the battery from less than 10% to over 90%.
2. Newly purchased lithium batteries are activated automatically.
3. Lithium batteries have no memory effects, supporting charging on demand. This extends battery lifespan with incomplete charge cycles.
4. When the charge level is low, it is highly suggested to charge the battery immediately to avoid irreversible damage.
5. It is important to use the matching charger and connect as per the user manual.
6. Charge the battery for 0.5~1 hour with the matching charger every 3 months when it's idle, to ensure the battery maintains 40%~60% capacity.
7. Long-term storage (over 3 months) requires a temperature of 20±10°C (10-30°C) and humidity of 65±20%RH.
8. Lithium battery service life is affected by temperature. 0~40°C is the ideal comfort zone. When it's lower than 0°C, battery life will be shortened with decreasincapacitat en g.

• Overheating warning ("OH"): Reduce continuous full-power flashes. Allow the unit to cool down. The flash will automatically limit recycling time.
• Exposició inconsistent: Ensure correct flash mode (TTL for automatic, M for manual control). Check flash compensation settings. Verify wireless channel and group settings if using off-camera.
