1. Instruccions de seguretat

1.1 Pre-Cautions

  • This Dash Cam is intended for use inside motor vehicles (DC 12V ~ 24V).
  • Do not place the Dash Cam in a humid environment, or expose it to rain, moisture, or water.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device without permission. Contact DDPAI Customer Service for assistance.
  • Avoid exposing the Dash Cam to overheating or excessive dust. Do not use chemicals or cleaning solvents on the device.

  • Use the specified USB car charger included in the package to avoid power supply mismatch issues.
  • Ensure the Dash Cam connects to the DDPAI App successfully before installation.
  • Grant all necessary permissions to the DDPAI App for normal function.

1.2 Advertències

4. Configuració i instal·lació

4.1 Instal·lació de la targeta TF

  1. Open the TF card slot cover on the left side of the Dash Cam.
  2. Ensure the lens of the Dash Cam is facing up and the chip of the TF card is facing up. Insert the TF card into the slot, following the silkscreen printed pattern.
  3. Tanqueu la tapa de la ranura de la targeta.

Nota: The Dash Cam will automatically format the TF card upon first use. Insert or remove the TF card ONLY when the Dash Cam is NOT connected to the power supply to prevent file dany.

4.2 Comprovació de l'encesa

Before full installation, perform a power-on check to ensure the Dash Cam connects to the DDPAI App normally.

  1. Download DDPAI App: Scan the QR code below or search for "DDPAI" in your app store.

Nota: Grant all necessary application permissions to the DDPAI App to avoid connection failures.

  1. Connect to Vehicle Charger:
    • Take out the M2 Dash Cam unit, mount, vehicle charger, and Type-C power cable.
    • Connect the USB connector of the power cable to the vehicle charger and insert the other end into the Type-C interface of the Dash Cam.
    • Insert the vehicle charger into the cigarette lighter socket and start the vehicle. The Dash Cam will power on with a "Hello, DDPAI" greeting. The indicator should show breathing blue, indicating normal operation.

4.3 Installing the M2 Dash Cam onto Your Windshield

  1. Seleccioneu la posició d'instal·lació: Choose a location on the front windshield, typically next to the rearview mirror on the driver's side, as shown in the figure. Clean the area thoroughly.

  • Use a vehicle wire trim tool to route the power cable along the front windshield and roof, hiding it on the A-pillar to avoid obstructing the driver's view.
  • Locate Installation Position using Guidelines: After connecting the M2 Dash Cam to your phone via the DDPAI App, use the horizontal and vertical guidelines on the screen to assist with precise positioning.
  • Fix the M2 Dash Cam: Attach an electrostatic sticker, then remove the red backing film from the 3M adhesive sticker on the bracket. Firmly attach the Dash Cam to the predetermined location on the windshield, ensuring the camera faces forward.

4.4 Instal·lació de la càmera posterior

  1. Clean the rear windshield where the rear camera will be installed.
  2. Connect the rear camera to the rear power cable.
  3. Insert the rear power cable fully into the M2 Dash Cam's headphone jack.

Nota: Ensure the power cable is fully plugged in; otherwise, the rear camera indicator will not light up, and the camera will not function.

  1. Route the rear power cable from the Dash Cam to the rear camera.
  2. Remove the red backing film from the adhesive sticker, adjust the rear camera's field of view, and fix it to the inner wall of the rear windshield.

4.5 Setting Up the M2 Dash Cam on DDPAI App

The Dash Cam connects to the DDPAI App via built-in Wi-Fi, allowing real-time preview, playback, download, and sharing of recordings without using mobile data.

  1. Open the DDPAI App, go to the "Device" page, tap "+ Connect New Device", then "Screen-less Dash Cam".
  2. Tap "Next" > "Connect to Wi-Fi". The detected Wi-Fi of the Dash Cam (e.g., DDPAI_N1 Dual_XXXX) will be displayed.

  1. Connect your phone to the Dash Cam's built-in Wi-Fi. The default password is 1234567890.

  • Per a iPhone: Go to "Settings" > "WLAN", select "DDPAI_N1 Dual_XXXX", enter the password, and tap "Join".
  • Per a Android: In the Wi-Fi list, select "DDPAI_N1Dual_XXXX", enter the password, and tap "Connection".

Nota: Upon first connection, you will be prompted to modify the Wi-Fi password (recommended) and enable high compression video encoding for clearer footage.

5.2 Enregistrament en bucle

The device automatically starts recording after powering on. When storage is full, previous recordings will be overwritten in a loop, except for locked emergency events.

Nota: Download and save emergency files promptly. If there are more than 10 emergency files, they will be overwritten.

5.3 Video Function (Preview & Playback)

  1. Preview Vídeo en temps real: After connecting to the DDPAI App, you will enter the real-time preview interface. Tap the camera icon to switch between front and rear camera views.
  2. Playback Recorded Video:
    • In the Now&back interface, tap on the screen to display the progress bar.
    • Drag the progress bar to select the desired time.
    • Tap the thumbnail or wait 5 seconds to start playback.

Nota: Recording pauses during video playback.

5.4 Downloading Video

  1. En el preview interface, tap on the screen to display the progress bar.
  2. Drag the progress bar to select the time starting point for download.
  3. Tap the download icon to start downloading. Tap "Complete" to finish. The file will be saved to your local photo album.

Nota: The longest video download is 3 minutes, and the shortest is 5 seconds.

5.5 Fer fotos

The Dash Cam supports two photographing modes:

  • Collision Sensing Photography: Automatically takes pictures upon detecting collision or emergency braking.
  • Manual Photographing: In the "Now&back" interface, tap the camera icon to take a photo. Photos are saved to your local album.

Nota: Collision-sensing photography generates 10-second related videos, saved in the "Capture" / "Emergency" interface.

5.6 24H Parking Monitoring Mode

This feature requires a hardwire kit (sold separately) to draw power directly from the vehicle's battery. When the vehicle is turned off, the Dash Cam automatically enters parking monitoring mode and records upon abnormal collision.

You can configure parking mode settings via the DDPAI App:

  1. Connect your phone to the Dash Cam via the App. Go to "Device" > "Enter the device" to access the "Now&back" interface.
  2. Tap the settings icon (top right corner) to enter "Camera Settings" > "Parking mode" / "Parking Monitoring Duration" / "Vehicle Battery Protection".

When the Dash Cam is in working mode, it generates an emergency photo and video upon detecting a collision or sudden braking. These files are stored separately and are not overwritten by loop recording.

The Dash Cam's collision sensitivity can be adjusted in the App. Higher sensitivity means easier triggering of recording. Default is "Medium".

  1. Connect your phone to the Dash Cam via the App. Go to "Device" > "Enter the device" to access the "Now&back" interface.
  2. Tap the settings icon (top right corner) to enter "Camera Settings" > "Camera sensitivity" > "Driving" / "Parking", then set the appropriate sensitivity.

5.7.2 Set the Duration of Emergency Related Video

The default emergency video duration is "10s". Options include "10s", "20s", and "30s".

  1. Connect your phone to the Dash Cam via the App. Go to "Device" > "Enter the device" to access the "Now&back" interface.
  2. Tap the settings icon (top right corner) to enter "Camera Settings" > "Create related video clip when taking a photo" to set the duration.

5.8 Drowsy Driving Remind

The M2 Dash Cam features a 4-hour drowsy driving reminder. If continuous driving for 4 hours is detected, a voice prompt will remind the driver to take a break, ensuring a safer journey.

5.9 Voice-Activated Capture

No manual operation is needed. Simply use voice commands to take photos or record videos, capturing important moments safely while driving.

5.10 256GB MicroSD Compatibility

The M2 Dash Cam supports up to 256GB MicroSD cards, providing ample storage for continuous 2K recording. This is ideal for long drives and extended parking monitoring, keeping your footage safe and uninterrupted.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Navegació Files al PC

To browse or edit photos and video files:

  1. Gently remove the TF card from the Dash Cam.
  2. Insert the TF card into a card reader.
  3. Plug the card reader into your computer.
  4. Open the "DCIM" folder to access the following subfolders:
  • 200 video: Contains normal recorded videos and time-lapse videos (in parking monitoring mode). Normal videos start with numbers, time-lapse videos start with "S". Ai.265 encoded videos end with "H".
  • 201 photo: Contains photos generated by collision sensors (start with "G") and normal photographs (start with "N"). Collision-sensing pictures with associated video will not be overwritten by loop recording.
  • 202 thumb: Contains thumbnails.
  • 203 gps: Stores G-sensor data.

6.2 Actualització del firmware

To upgrade the Dash Cam firmware:

  1. Open the DDPAI App and connect to the Dash Cam's Wi-Fi.
  2. Go to "Me" > "About DDPAI" > "Detect New Version".
  3. The App will automatically check for the latest App and firmware versions. Follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade.

Nota: Do NOT cut off power during the upgrade process to avoid damaging the device. If a power outage causes the upgrade to fail, contact customer service, download the latest upgrade package, and copy it to the "DCIM" folder on the device.

7. Resolució de problemes (FAQ)

7.1 How do I format a memory card?

After connecting your phone to the device via the App, go to "Camera Settings" > "Storage Management" and select "Format" to format the card.

7.2 How do I export driving video from the memory card?

Use a card reader to connect the TF card to a computer, then you can export the driving video files.

7.3 What is the Wi-Fi password of the dash cam?

The default Wi-Fi password is "1234567890". You can change it in "Camera Settings" > "Set WIFI Password" after connecting the App.

7.4 How do I reset the dash cam?

In case of abnormal state, press and hold the reset button with a pin for approximately 6 seconds. The device will automatically restart after a successful reset.

7.5 What if I forget the Wi-Fi password?

Press and hold the reset button with a pin for approximately 6 seconds to reset the device to factory settings. Then reconnect using the default password (1234567890).

7.6 Why can't I see the image of my rear camera?

Ensure the rear camera cable is firmly connected to the front camera. Check if the rear camera indicator light is solid green. Then, in the App's "Now&back" interface, tap the camera icon to switch to the rear camera view.
