Introducció

The ANENG PN128 Clamp Meter is a compact, high-precision 4000-count True RMS digital multimeter designed for various electrical measurements. It incorporates a revolutionary digital multimeter chip with a digital processor for accurate True RMS value measurement up to 4MHz. Its built-in calibration program ensures high-precision digital correction, offering reliable measurement accuracy.

Configuració

Instal·lació de la bateria

Per instal·lar les bateries, seguiu aquests passos:

  1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del clamp metre.
  2. Feu servir un tornavís per obrir la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
  3. Insert three AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Substituïu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria i fixeu-la amb el cargol.

Instruccions de funcionament

The ANENG PN128 Clamp Meter offers a variety of measurement functions. Always ensure the correct gear (function) is selected before performing any measurement.

1. Mesura de corrent DC

To measure DC current, switch the rotary dial to the appropriate DC current gear. Clamp the single-stranded wire with the pliers to measure the DC current. This is particularly useful for automotive applications.

2. Mesura de corrent alterna

For AC current measurement, switch the rotary dial to the AC current gear. Clamp the single-stranded wire with the pliers to measure the AC current. Ensure the measured wire is placed in the center of the clamp to avoid length errors. This meter can only measure the zero line or fire line, and only a single core line. It cannot measure common electrical appliances with multiple core wires.

3. Vol sense contactetage (NCV) Detecció

To use the NCV function, switch the rotary dial to the NCV gear. Bring the front end of the meter close to an AC voltage source. A beep alarm will sound when a nearby power supply is detected. The closer the distance, the more urgent the alarm, indicating contactless power check.

4. DC Voltage Mesura

Switch the rotary dial to the DCV (DC Voltage) gear. Use the test leads (watch pen) to contact the corresponding positive and negative electrodes of the circuit or battery to measure DC voltage.

5. AC Voltage Mesura

Switch the rotary dial to the ACV (AC Voltage) gear. Use the test leads to measure common AC voltage, such as household electricity (approximately 220V).

6. Mesura de Resistències

Switch the rotary dial to the Resistance gear. The test leads can contact both sides of the resistor to measure its resistance value.

7. Prova de díodes

Switch the rotary dial to the Diode gear. Use the test leads to measure Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) or other diodes, aligning the positive and negative terminals correctly.

8. Buzzer (Continuity) Test

Switch the rotary dial to the Buzzer gear. Test for continuity (on and off). The meter will make a beep sound to indicate normal continuity, useful for checking fuses or circuit paths.

9. Mesura de la capacitat

Switch the rotary dial to the Capacitance gear. Contact the capacitance with the test leads. Short-circuit discharge of the capacitor is required before measurement to avoid damage to the meter.

10. Frequency (Hz) Measurement

Switch the rotary dial to the Hz Frequency gear. Measure the AC voltage to obtain the frequency value.

11. Mesura de la temperatura

Switch the rotary dial to the Temperature gear (°C or °F). Connect the temperature line (thermocouple) to the instrument, and then contact the other end of the thermocouple to the measured object to view the real-time temperature.

Funcions addicionals

  • Apagat automàtic: The meter will automatically shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity to save battery life.

  • Blue Backlit Screen: The display features a blue backlight for improved readability in low-light conditions.
  • Data Hold (H): Click the 'B/L H' button to retain the current measurement reading on the display.
  • Max/Min Value (MAX/MIN): Use the 'MAX MIN' button to record and display the maximum and minimum measured values.
