Test de compatibilitat

Before installation, it is crucial to test if your existing garage door opener is compatible with the ONENUO CKM01 controller. This device works by simulating a button press on your wall console.

Instal·lació

Follow these steps to install your ONENUO CKM01 Smart Garage Door Controller:

1. 1st Step: Power Up

   Connect the power adapter to the smart garage controller unit and plug it into a power outlet. The device will power on.

2. 2nd Step: Connect to the Wall Console

   Insert the red and black wires (2.0mm terminals) from the smart controller into the same terminals on your garage door opener where the existing wall button wires are terminated. This connects the smart controller in parallel with your physical wall button.

3. 3rd Step: Install the Garage Door Sensor

   Insert the 2.0mm terminal of the sensor cable into the smart garage controller. Find a suitable position on your garage door to mount the sensor and its magnet. Ensure the distance between the two sensor parts is between 3mm and 15mm when the garage door is closed. When the door opens, the two parts should separate. Use the provided screws, brackets, or 3M adhesive tapes for secure fixation.

Nota:

• The garage door will activate when successfully added to the app, so keep your door closed first during the app pairing process.
• If you are worried about the stability of the sensor, you can use both screws and 3M gums for mounting.

App Setup (Tuya Smart / Smart Life)

To control your garage door, you need to set up the device with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.

1. Requisits previs:

   • Your smartphone or tablet must be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network with internet access. The device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
   • Download either the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
   • During the pairing process, ensure your mobile device and the garage controller are within range of your WiFi router.
   • Make sure your router's MAC filtering is disabled, if applicable.

   • Power up the garage controller. Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the device until the blue LED light flashes rapidly.
   • Launch the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on your phone.

Once the device is successfully paired with the app, you can control your garage door from anywhere with an internet connection:

The ONENUO CKM01 controller works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control.

Per a Amazon Alexa:

1. Open the Alexa App and tap on the menu in the upper left corner. Go to "Skills & Games".
2. Cerca "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in the search field.
3. Tap on the skill and enable it.
4. Enter your Tuya/Smart Life account information and tap 'Log in' to link your account to your Amazon account.
5. Voice commands: "Alexa, Open [device name]", "Alexa, Close [device name]", "Alexa, Is [device name] open?"

Per a Google Home:

1. Launch the Google Home app and tap the menu icon.
2. Tap "Home control".
3. Under Devices, tap the "+" icon.
4. Tap "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life".
5. Enter your Tuya/Smart Life account information and tap 'Log in' to link your account to your Google account.
6. Voice commands: "Hey Google, open [device name]", "OK Google, close [device name]".

Note: When you open the garage by Google Home, it will ask you to input a password. You can set this password in the app settings under "Smart Voice".

Real-time Feedback & Notifications

The app provides real-time feedback on the status of your garage door (open or closed) and sends notifications to your phone whenever the door is opened or closed, ensuring you are always aware of its status.

Open Over Time Alarm

You can set a custom duration for how long the garage door can remain open. If the door stays open beyond this set time, the app will send you an alarm notification, reminding you to close it.

Resolució de problemes

Verify that the device is powered on and the blue LED is indicating the correct status (flashing for pairing, solid for connected).

• Sensor not detecting door status: Ensure the sensor and magnet are installed correctly with a gap of 3-15mm when the door is closed. Check for any obstructions or misalignment.

• Device not compatible with HomeKit: This device is not directly compatible with Apple HomeKit. However, you can often add "Tap-to-Run" scenes created in the Smart Life app to Siri Shortcuts for limited voice control via Siri.
