5. Configuració

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria del transmissor

The C7 MINI transmitter can be powered by four No. 5 (AA) batteries or a 2S lithium battery. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.

  1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de les piles a la part posterior del transmissor.
  2. Per a piles AA: Insert four No. 5 (AA) batteries into the battery holder, observing the polarity markings.
  3. For 2S Lithium Battery: Connect a 2S lithium battery to the dedicated socket within the battery compartment.

Alternatively, an external DC 6V power supply can be connected to the DC power socket on the right side of the remote control. If using an external power supply, remove any internal batteries first.

5.2 Frequency Alignment (Binding)

For first-time use or when pairing with a new receiver, frequency alignment (binding) is required:

  1. Ensure the remote control (transmitter) is turned off.
  2. Enceneu el receptor.
  3. Press and hold the frequency control button on the receiver.
  4. While holding the button, power on the remote control. The remote control will enter frequency alignment mode.
  5. The receiver's orange light will flash, indicating that the transmitter has successfully received a frequency signal and binding is complete.

After successful binding, the transmitter will automatically receive data from the receiver. To verify, turn on the machine, hold the transmitter 10 to 15 meters away from the receiver, and gently shake the transmitter left and right. If the receiver is controlled by the transmitter, it indicates proper function.

6.2 Basic Navigation and Key Lock

The transmitter features a simple menu system and a key lock function:

  • Pàgina principal: Shows essential information such as Receiver Type, Amount of electricity, Remote control voltage, Model Voltage, Receiver supply voltage, Model Type, Key Lock status, and Fine tuning values.
  • Tecla de bloqueig: Per bloquejar els controls, premeu el botó BLOC key for 2 seconds when no option is selected on the main screen. A lock symbol will appear. To unlock, press the BLOC key again for 2 seconds. While locked, MENÚ, Sortida, MONITOR, UP, i ABAIX keys will have no effect.

6.3 Configuració del sistema

To access and modify system settings:

  1. From the main page, press the MENÚ key to select "System Setting".

6.4 Receiver Selection

To select the appropriate receiver model:

  1. Navigate to the receiver selection menu (part of System Settings).
  2. Utilitza el UP or ABAIX keys to select the corresponding receiver option (e.g., 7RB-U2, 8RE-U2, MC9002, MC6RE, MC7RB, MC8RE, E6R-E, M-BUS).

6.5 Rocker Settings (Throttle Mode)

The C7 MINI supports both left-hand and right-hand throttle modes:

  • Left-hand throttle: The left rocker controls the throttle.
  • Right-hand throttle: The right rocker controls the throttle.

6.7 Fine Adjustment Switches

The transmitter includes fine adjustment switches for precise control:

  • The left fine-tuning switch corresponds to channel 4.
  • The right fine-tuning switch corresponds to channel 1.
  • The upper left adjustment switch, in "left mode", corresponds to channel 3.
  • The upper right adjustment switch, in "online mode", corresponds to channel 2.
  • The upper right adjustment switch, in "Equation mode", corresponds to channel 3.

6.8 Channel Reversal

To reverse the operation direction of channels 1-8:

  1. Navigate to the channel reversal menu (part of System Settings).

6.10 Mixed Control Settings

Mixed control allows binding multiple receiver channels to a single transmitter control for complex movements. Settings vary by model type:

  • Fixed Wing, Vehicle, and Boat Mixed Control:
    • CH1/CH2 mixed control: Channel 1 and Channel 2 mixed.
    • CH2/CH4 mixed control: Channel 2 and Channel 4 mixed.
  • Multi-axis Hybrid Control: Combined with the D/R switch, this allows the aircraft to switch between three and six attitudes.

To configure mixed control:

  1. Navigate to the mixed control settings menu (part of Model Settings).

7. Manteniment

7.1 Vol baixtage Alarma

The transmitter is equipped with a low voltage alarm to alert you when batteries are running low:

  • If using 4x No. 5 (AA) batteries, the alarm will trigger when voltage baixa per sota dels 4V.
  • If using 2S lithium batteries, the alarm will trigger when voltage baixa per sota dels 7.2V.

When the alarm triggers, the remote control power light will flash, indicating that the batteries are low and need to be replaced or recharged.

7.2 Safe Shutdown Procedure

To ensure the safety of your model and yourself, always follow this shutdown procedure:

  1. After the model's motor stops running, first turn off the power supply to the model.
  2. Then, turn off the 5-channel power (referring to the transmitter).

This sequence prevents accidental movements or damage during power-down.

8. Solució De Problemes

  • No response from model:

    • Verify that the frequency alignment (binding) process was completed successfully. Refer to Section 5.2.
    • Check battery levels in both the transmitter and the model.
