The Sofirn SF16 is a versatile UV flashlight designed for detecting and observing substances normally invisible to the naked eye. It features three distinct output levels (Low, Medium, High) to suit various detection needs. With a powerful maximum output of 875mW, it is ideal for inspecting pet urine stains, currency, antiques, fluorescent agents, and even scorpions, contributing to a cleaner environment and improved health.

3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The SF16 flashlight uses one 18650 Li-ion battery. The battery may come with an insulating paper disc to prevent discharge during shipping. To install or activate the battery:

1. Desenrosqueu la tapa de la cua de la llanterna.
2. Remove the insulating paper disc from the battery (if present).
3. Insert the 18650 Li-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
4. Screw the tail cap back on tightly.

3.2 Càrrega

The SF16 features convenient USB Type-C charging. The charging specification is 5V/2A.

2. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the port and a suitable USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank).
3. The power indicator will show the charging status:
• Flashing Red: Charging in progress.

4. The flashlight can be recharged whether the tail switch is turned on or off. Note that charging time may vary: approximately 2 hours when the tail switch is on, and 3 hours when off.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Funcionament bàsic

• ON/OFF: Single click the tactical tail switch to turn the SF16 on. It will activate in the last used mode. Single click the tail switch again to turn it off.
• Selecció de sortida: When the flashlight is on, lightly tap the tail switch to cycle through the three output levels: Low → Medium → High.

4.2 Memòria de mode

The SF16 features mode memory, meaning it will remember the last brightness level (Low, Medium, or High) used when you turn it off and will return to that mode when turned on again.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Atenció general

• Keep the flashlight clean and free from dust and debris.

5.2 Cura de la bateria

6. Solució De Problemes

• Flashlight not turning on or only works when plugged in:
  Ensure the battery is correctly installed and the insulating paper disc has been removed. Unscrew the tail cap, remove any insulating paper, and screw the tail cap back on tightly.
• Charging issues with USB-C cable:
  While the SF16 supports USB-C charging, some USB-C to USB-C cables with thicker connectors may not fit the charging port. Try using a standard USB-A to USB-C cable or a USB-C to USB-C cable with a slimmer connector.

  The flashlight is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent damage from improper battery insertion. If the flashlight does not turn on after battery installation, double-check that the battery is inserted with the positive (+) end towards the head.
