Sensor de porta CPVan de 433 MHz

CPVAN 433MHz Door Window Sensor User Manual

Model: Sensor de porta de 433 MHz

Marca: CPVan

1. Introducció

Congratulations on your purchase of the CPVAN Door Window sensor. This sensor is designed for indoor use only and is intended to be used in combination with compatible CPVan Home Alarm Units. It provides an essential layer of security by detecting the opening or closing of doors and windows.

The sensor operates by detecting changes in magnetic fields. When the magnet component is moved away from the main sensor unit, it detects this motion and sends a wireless signal to the connected CPVAN Alarm Unit. The alarm unit will then respond according to its settings, typically by emitting a strong alarm sound or a chime.

5. Configuració i instal·lació

5.1. Pairing with CPVAN Hubs

This door/window sensor cannot be used alone. It must be used together with a compatible CPVAN alarm host. For detailed pairing instructions, please refer to the specific manual of your CPVAN alarm hub (e.g., CP2/CP2W/CP4/CP9/CP10/CP11).

5.2. Pautes generals d'instal·lació

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and reliable detection. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Preparació de la superfície: Ensure that both the installation area on the door/window and its frame are clean, dry, and free from grease and dust.
  • Placement Material: Do not install the sensors on breakable materials. Instead, choose a sturdy surface like the frame of a window or door.
  • Estabilitat: Avoid installing the sensor on unstable parts where it might easily shift or fall.
  • Interferència magnètica: Do not install the sensor near other strong magnetic parts that might accidentally trigger the alarm.
  • Alineació: The sensor and magnet must be placed on the door/window and its frame respectively. The square marks on both units should be aligned. The alarm is triggered when the sensor and magnet are separated.

5.3. Instal·lació Examples

The sensor and magnet can be installed in various situations:

  1. Situation 1 (Ideal): Door/window and doorpost/frame are at the same vertical level. The sensor and magnet are aligned next to one another with minimal gap.
  2. Situations 2 & 3 (Uneven Levels): If the door/window and frame are at uneven levels, the sensor and magnet can still be installed. The distance between the two should ideally not be more than 2 centimeters. If the space is greater than 2 centimeters, the double-sided tape can be cut and stacked to create a thicker spacer to bridge the distance.

6. Funcionament

6.1. Principi de funcionament

The door window sensor works by detecting the separation of its two components (sensor and magnet). When a door or window is opened, causing the magnet to move away from the sensor, the internal detector registers this change in magnetic field. It then transmits a wireless signal to your paired CPVAN alarm host, which in turn triggers an alarm or chime and sends an APP push notification to your smartphone.

Intruder detection scenario: sensor triggers alarm and sends notification.

6.2. Testing the Sensor

After installation, it is important to test the sensor to ensure it is functioning correctly:

  1. Open the window or door where the sensor is installed.
  2. Observe the sensor: the red indicator light on the front of the sensor should flash once.
  3. If the indicator light flashes, the sensor is properly set up and communicating with your alarm host.

7. Manteniment

7.1. Substitució de la bateria

The sensor is powered by a 12V button battery. When the battery is low, the sensor will typically send a low voltage alarm signal to your CPVAN alarm host. To replace the battery:

  1. Obriu amb cura el sensor casing.
  2. Remove the old 12V button battery.
  3. Insert a new 12V button battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Tanqueu el sensor casing de manera segura.

7.2. Neteja

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the sensor and magnet units with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.

8. Solució De Problemes

  • Sensor not triggering: Ensure the sensor and magnet are correctly aligned (square marks matching) and the gap is within the recommended distance (max 2cm, or adjusted with stacked tape). Check if the battery is dead or low.
  • No alarm from hub: Verify that the sensor is successfully paired with your CPVAN alarm host. Refer to your alarm host's manual for pairing instructions. Check the alarm host's settings to ensure it's armed and configured to respond to the sensor.
  • Falses alarmes: Check for any nearby strong magnetic sources that might be interfering with the sensor. Ensure the sensor is installed on a stable surface and not prone to accidental movement.
  • Red indicator light not flashing during test: This could indicate a dead battery or a faulty sensor. Replace the battery first. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

9. Consells d'usuari

No hi havia consells específics per a l'usuari disponibles de reviews or Q&A at this time. However, users generally find these sensors easy to install and reliable when properly configured with a compatible alarm system.
