Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize your enjoyment of the product.

3. Configuració

3.1 Mounting the MeshCom Unit

The MeshCom unit can be mounted to your helmet using either the clamp plate or the 3M adhesive tape bracket.

1. Trieu el mètode de muntatge: Decideix entre el clamp plate (more secure, requires helmet edge) or the 3M tape bracket (easier installation, suitable for helmets without a suitable edge).

   • Position it securely and tighten the screws using the provided Allen wrench. Ensure it does not interfere with helmet safety or comfort.
3. Install 3M Tape Bracket (if chosen):
   • Clean the desired mounting area on the helmet surface thoroughly.
   • Peel off the protective film from the 3M tape bracket.
   • Firmly press the bracket onto the helmet surface for at least 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before attaching the MeshCom unit.
4. Attach MeshCom Unit: Slide the MeshCom main unit onto the installed mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place.

3.2 Instal·lació d'altaveus i micròfon

1. Col·locació dels altaveus: Attach the 40MM HI-FI speakers to the inside of your helmet, aligning them with your ears. Use the provided speaker pads for comfort and optimal sound. Ensure they do not press uncomfortably against your ears.
2. Col·locació del micròfon: Choose between the boom microphone (for open-face or modular helmets) or the soft-wire microphone (for full-face helmets). Position the microphone close to your mouth, ensuring it is not obstructed by padding or wind.
3. Gestió de cables: Route all cables neatly under the helmet padding to prevent interference and ensure comfort. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the corresponding ports on the MeshCom main unit.

3.3 Càrrega del dispositiu

Before first use, fully charge the MeshCom unit.

• Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the MeshCom unit and to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
• The LED indicator will show charging status (typically red for charging, blue/green for fully charged).

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Encès/Apagat

• Encès: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up and you hear an audible prompt.
• Apagar: Premeu i manteniu premut el botó d'engegada durant aproximadament 3 segons fins que l'indicador LED s'apagui i sentiu un missatge audible.

4.2 Control de volum

• Augmenta el volum: Premeu el botó '+'.
• Disminueix el volum: Premeu el botó '-'.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing (Phone/GPS)

To connect your MeshCom to a smartphone or GPS device:

1. Ensure the MeshCom is powered off.
2. Premeu i manteniu premut el botó d'engegada durant uns 5-7 segons fins que l'indicador LED parpellegi alternativament en vermell i blau, cosa que indica el mode d'emparellament.
3. On your phone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
4. Select "LEXIN-MeshCom" from the list of available devices.
5. Once paired, the LED indicator will typically show a solid blue light or flash blue periodically.

4.4 Mesh Intercom Operation

The MeshCom features MESH 3.0 technology for group communication with up to 24 riders over a 2km range.

• One-Click Mesh Intercom: With Mesh 3.0, simply press the 'M' (Mesh) button once to initiate or join a Mesh intercom group. The system automatically connects to available MeshCom units within range.
• Canvi de canal: The MeshCom supports switching between 10 different channels. This allows for private conversations within a larger group or to avoid interference. Refer to the full user manual for specific button combinations to change channels.

4.5 Parallel Audio

The MeshCom allows you to listen to two audio sources simultaneously, such as intercom communication while listening to music or GPS navigation.

4.6 Music Playback & Sharing

• Reproduir/pausar música: Press the 'M' button once.
• Pista següent: Press the '+' button twice quickly.
• Pista anterior: Press the '-' button twice quickly.
• Compartir música: While playing music, activate music sharing (refer to the full manual for specific button press) to share your audio with a paired MeshCom unit.

4.7 Ràdio FM

• Activar/desactivar la ràdio FM: Press a specific button combination (refer to the full manual).
• Estacions d'escaneig: Use the '+' or '-' buttons to scan for available FM stations.

4.8 Assistent de veu

Access your smartphone's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.) directly from your MeshCom unit.

5. Manteniment

• Neteja: Utilitzeu un suau, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the MeshCom unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Resistència a l'aigua: The device is IP67 waterproof, meaning it can withstand rain and splashes. However, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed when not charging.
• Cura de la bateria: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.
• Emmagatzematge: Store the MeshCom unit and accessories in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.

6. Solució De Problemes

Problemes comuns i solucions:

  • Assegureu-vos que la bateria estigui carregada. Connecteu-la a un carregador i torneu-ho a provar.
  • Verify you are pressing the Power button correctly for 3 seconds.
• Sense so dels altaveus:
  • Check volume levels on both the MeshCom and your connected device.
  • Ensure speakers are correctly plugged into the MeshCom unit.
  • Verify speaker placement inside the helmet.
• Cannot pair with phone/GPS:
  • Ensure the MeshCom is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing red/blue).
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone/GPS and it's discoverable.

  • The built-in CVC/DSP noise reduction should handle most background noise, but extreme conditions may still affect clarity.

• Gestió de canals: When riding in a large group, utilize the 10 available Mesh channels to organize smaller sub-groups or to switch to a private channel if needed.
