This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Xprinter H500B/H500E Thermal Transfer Ribbon Label Barcode Printer. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the printer to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

3. Guia de configuració
3.1 Desembalatge i col·locació
- Traieu amb cura la impressora de l'embalatge.
- Place the printer on a stable, flat surface near a power outlet and your computer.
- Assegureu-vos que hi hagi una ventilació adequada al voltant de la impressora.
3.2 Connexió de potència
- Connecteu l'adaptador de corrent al port d'entrada d'alimentació de la impressora.
- Plug the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V AC).
- Enceneu la impressora amb l'interruptor d'alimentació.
3.3 Càrrega de suports (etiquetes i cinta)
The printer supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing. For thermal transfer printing, a ribbon is required.

- Obriu la coberta superior de la impressora.
- Carregant etiquetes: Place the label roll onto the media spindle. Ensure the labels feed smoothly through the guides and under the print head. The printer supports media widths from 25.4mm to 118mm.
- Loading Ribbon (for Thermal Transfer): Insert the ribbon roll onto the supply spindle and the empty core onto the take-up spindle. Thread the ribbon as indicated by the internal diagrams, ensuring it passes between the print head and the labels. The ribbon capacity is max 300m, with a width of 110mm and a 1-inch core diameter.
- Close the top cover. The printer may perform an automatic paper test.
3.4 Instal·lació de controladors i programari
To use the printer with your computer, you need to install the appropriate drivers and labeling software.

3.5 Connexió a l'ordinador
- Connexió USB: Connecteu la impressora a l'ordinador mitjançant el cable USB proporcionat.
- Connexions opcionals: Depending on your model and configuration, you may also connect via Serial, LAN, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.
4. Funcionament
4.1 Printing Modes
The Xprinter H500B/H500E supports two primary printing modes:
- Tèrmica directa: Uses heat-sensitive paper that darkens when heated by the print head. No ribbon is required.
- Transferència tèrmica: Uses a ribbon that transfers ink to the label material when heated. This method is suitable for more durable labels and a wider range of materials.
4.2 Impressió d'etiquetes
Once drivers and software are installed, you can print labels from your chosen application (e.g., Bartender, or any application that supports printing to a label printer).

- Ensure the correct label type and ribbon (if needed) are loaded.
- Select your Xprinter H500B/H500E as the printer in your software.
- Configure label size, orientation, and content within the software.

5. Manteniment
5.1 Neteja del capçal d'impressió
Regular cleaning of the print head ensures print quality and extends the life of the printer. Clean the print head with an alcohol swab or a specialized print head cleaning pen.
- Apagueu la impressora i desconnecteu el cable d'alimentació.
- Obriu la coberta superior.
- Gently wipe the print head surface from the center outwards.
- Deixeu que el capçal d'impressió s'assequi completament abans de tancar la coberta i tornar a connectar l'alimentació.
- The print head has a life expectancy of 30 km.
5.2 Replacing Ribbon and Labels
Replace ribbons and label rolls as they run out. Refer to Section 3.3 for detailed loading instructions.

6. Solució De Problemes
