2.5 Protect Your Hearing

6. Configuració

6.1 Host Installation

The host can be installed in two ways:

6.1.1 Flat Installation

Place the host flat on a desktop or any stable surface. No back clip is needed for this method.

6.1.2 Instal·lació a la paret

Attach the back clip to the host. Then, use the nail holes on the back clip to securely mount the host to a wall.

6.2 Host Power On/Off

6.2.1 Encès

When the host is powered off, press and hold the lock button for 1.5 seconds. The host will emit a quick "beep" sound, and the green light will flash once. Then, another "beep" sound will follow, and the LED indicator light will flash once in a cycle, indicating the host is turned on.

If the host is powered off, connect the USB cable to power it on. The host will beep quickly, the green light will flash once, then beep again, and the LED indicator light will flash in a cycle, automatically turning on.

Nota: If the battery is at 0%, you cannot press the button to turn on the host.

6.2.2 Apagat

When the host is powered on, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds. The host will emit a beep sound, and the LED red light will light up once. Release the lock button. The host will report an APP-host shutdown prompt, and the LED indicator will flash red 3 times quickly, emitting three beeps. The host is now shut down.

6.3 Call Button Charging (TH012)

Unscrew the back shell of the call button counterclockwise. Connect a Micro USB cable to the USB port inside to charge the battery. The red indicator light stays on during charging and turns off when fully charged.

6.4 Call Button Installation

The call button can be used in two ways:

6.4.1 Lanyard Use

After opening the back cover, tie the lanyard to the designated position and then tighten the back cover clockwise. The button can then be worn around the neck.

6.4.2 Adhesive Mounting

Apply the double-sided adhesive tape to the back cover of the button. Then, install the button on a wall or other desired flat surface.

6.5.2 Registre del compte d'usuari

When opening the "Tuya Smart" APP for the first time, you will need to register a new user account.

6.5.3 Network Access Configuration (Host - TH011)

Ensure your mobile phone is connected to the 2.4GHz WiFi network that your host will use. The host supports both Bluetooth and Intelligent Connection methods.

6.5.3.1 Connexió Bluetooth

  2. Press and hold the function setting button on the host. The white LED indicator light on the host will start to flash quickly, indicating it has entered the WiFi configuration state.
  3. Open the APP, go to the homepage, and click the "Add Device" icon.
  4. The APP will automatically scan for nearby devices. Select the discovered "WiFi Alarm System" and click "Add".
  5. Enter your WiFi network information (SSID and password) and click "Next" to complete the Bluetooth network configuration.
6.5.3.2 Intelligent Connection
  1. Connect your mobile phone to the WiFi router. Ensure the router has normal internet access.
  2. Open the APP, go to the homepage, and click the "Add Device" icon.
  3. Select "WiFi Connector" under the "Others" category.
  4. Enter your WiFi network information (SSID and password) and click "Next".
  5. At this point, long press the function setting button on the host. The white LED indicator light will flash quickly, indicating it has entered the WiFi configuration state.
  6. In the APP, confirm that the indicator light is flashing quickly and proceed to connect.
6.5.3.3 Connexió AP
  1. Connect your mobile phone to the router's WiFi.
  2. Open the APP, go to the homepage, and click the "Add Device" icon.
  3. Select "WiFi Connector" under the "Others" category.
  4. Enter your WiFi network information (SSID and password) and click "Next".
  5. At this time, press and hold the function setting button and the power button on the host simultaneously. The host's LED white light will flash slowly, indicating it has entered the AP network configuration state.
  6. In the APP, confirm that the indicator light is flashing slowly and proceed to connect.
  7. The APP will prompt you to connect to the device's hotspot (named "Smart Life-XXXX", no password). Connect to this hotspot from your phone's WiFi settings.
  8. Return to the APP to complete the connection.

6.5.4 Network Access Configuration (Call Button - TH012)

This section is only applicable to the TH012 model, which supports WiFi connectivity.

  1. Ensure the button battery is not in a "low power" state.
  2. Open the APP, go to the "All Devices" page, click the "Add Device" icon.
  3. Select "Emergency Button - WiFi" under the "Sensors" category.
  4. Remove the back cover of the button, press and hold the reset button. The red light will enter the flash network configuration state.
  5. The APP will automatically search and find the button. Click "Add" and enter the WiFi password, then click "Next" to complete the network configuration.

7. Instruccions de funcionament

7.1 Host Button Settings

The host has several buttons for direct control:

  • Arm/Disarm Mode: Short press the arm/disarm key to switch between arming and disarming states.
    • When arming: The host beeps once, and the LED light flashes once.

    • If left behind to arm: The host beeps three times, and the LED light flashes three times.
  • Ajust de volum: Short press the volume key to adjust the music volume. The volume will be automatically adjusted to the maximum when the host is powered off and on again.
  • WIFI Configuration State: Long press the volume key to enter the WIFI configuration state.

7.2 Call Button Usage

To send an emergency alert:

  • Short press the "SOS" area in the center of the button.
  • The light will turn on to indicate successful triggering.
  • The button sends call information to the host.

The mobile APP allows for remote monitoring and control of the system:

8. Manteniment

8.1 Low Battery Reminder

  • Amfitrió (TH011): When the host's battery level drops below 20%, the APP will push a low battery reminder message. If the host battery is completely out of power, the APP will report a shutdown prompt message, the LED indicator will flash 3 times quickly, and three beeps will sound before the host automatically shuts down.
  • Call Button (TH012/TH013): Quan la bateria voltage is lower than the specified value, after entering a semi-sleep state, if the button is triggered, the red light will flash four times. This indicates that the user needs to charge the battery. The mobile APP will also receive a low battery reminder.

8.2 Neteja

Regularly wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure no liquid enters the device openings.

  • Device not connecting to APP: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. Check if the device is in pairing mode (flashing LED). Verify the WiFi password entered in the APP. Try restarting both the device and your router.
  • No alert from host: Check if the host is powered on and has sufficient battery. Ensure the call button is paired correctly and has battery. Verify the volume settings on the host.
  • Call button not responding: Check the battery level of the call button. Ensure it is within the wireless range of the host.
  • Falses alarmes: Check the sensitivity settings in the APP if applicable (though this product primarily supports button calls). Ensure buttons are not accidentally pressed.
  • Poor wireless range: Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, large metal objects) between the host and the call button. Relocate the host to a more central location if possible.
