1. Introducció

The DATA FROG T29 is a versatile wireless Bluetooth controller designed for an enhanced gaming experience across multiple platforms. It features advanced functionalities such as a built-in TURBO function, key mapping, dual vibration, 6-axis motion sensing, and a highly sensitive touch pad. This controller is compatible with PlayStation 4 (PS4, PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim), PC (Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Steam), and smartphones (iOS/Android).

4. Configuració i connexió

4.1. Connecting to PS4/PS5 Console

Primera connexió:

1. Turn on your PS4 or PS5 console.
2. Connect the T29 controller to the console using the provided USB Type-C cable.
3. Press the 'Home' button on the controller.
4. Select a user profile a la consola.
5. The light bar on the controller will flash white and then settle on a blue or other color channel light, indicating a successful connection. You can then remove the cable to use the controller wirelessly.

Connexions posteriors:

When connecting for the second time or later, simply turn on your console, and the T29 controller will automatically connect.

Note for PS5 users: This controller can only be used to play PS4 games on a PS5 console. For PS5-specific games, the system may prompt you to use a different controller.

4.2. Connexió al PC

Connexió per cable:

Connect the controller to your PC using the provided USB Type-C cable. This method supports Windows 7/8/8.1/10 and Steam.

Connexió Bluetooth sense fil:

1. Ensure your computer supports Bluetooth (or install a Bluetooth receiver).
2. With the controller powered off, long press the 'SHARE' and 'HOME' buttons simultaneously until the indicator light flashes quickly. This puts the gamepad into Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. On your computer, search for Bluetooth devices.
4. Select "Wireless Controller" from the list of available devices and connect to it. The LED light will remain on once connected.

4.3. Connecting to Smartphone (Bluetooth)

iOS Bluetooth Connection:

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Encendre/apagar

• Per encendre: Press the 'HOME' button.
• Per apagar: Press and hold the 'PS' button until the light bar turns off, or log out of the PS4/PS5 system. If the controller is in a re-connecting state and fails to connect for over 60 seconds, it will automatically power off.

5.2. Sleep and Wake Up

• If the controller fails to connect to a console within 30 seconds during a search, it will enter sleep mode.
• In a connected state, if there is no button operation for approximately 10 minutes and the analog sticks do not move significantly, the controller will enter sleep mode.
• To wake up the controller, press the 'HOME' button. It will automatically reconnect to the previously paired PS4/PS5 system.

5.3. Càrrega del controlador

The controller is equipped with an 800mAh rechargeable battery.

1. Connect the controller to your PS4/PS5 console or a USB power source using the provided USB Type-C cable. The console must be turned on or in rest mode.
2. The charge level of the battery can be viewed on-screen by pressing and holding the 'PS' button.
3. While charging in rest mode, the light bar will slowly blink orange. Once charging is complete, the light bar will turn off.
4. A full charge from an empty battery takes approximately 3 hours.

5.4. Funció TURBO

The TURBO function allows for rapid, repeated input of a button press by simply holding it down. This function is available for the fire buttons (X, O, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2).

• Per activar TURBO: Hold down the 'TURBO' button, then press the desired fire button (e.g., X). Release the 'TURBO' button. Now, holding down the X button will simulate rapid presses.
• Per esborrar TURBO: Hold down the 'TURBO' button, then press the fire button for which you want to clear the TURBO setting.

5.5. Key Mapping Function (Programmable Back Buttons)

The back buttons (F1, F2) can be programmed to map to other controller inputs for personalized control.

• Mapping Setting:
  1. Press and hold 'SHARE + Fn' keys simultaneously until the light bar flashes.
  2. Press the back button (F1 or F2) you wish to program.
  3. Press the button you want to assign to the back button (e.g., L1, R2, X, etc.).
  4. Press the 'Fn' key again to save the setting. The programmed back button will now replicate the assigned button's function.
• Esborra el mapa:

  Press and hold 'SHARE + Fn' keys simultaneously until the light bar flashes and then turns off. This will reset the Fn keys to their default settings (F1=L1, F2=R1).

• Cancel Programming (Temporary Disable):

  Press and hold 'OPTIONS + TURBO' keys simultaneously until the light bar flashes and then stays on. This temporarily stops the mapping function. To reactivate programming to default mode, press 'OPTIONS + TURBO' again.

Mappable Buttons: The following buttons can be mapped to the back buttons: X, O, Square, Triangle, Up, Down, Left, Right, L3, R3, L1, R1, L2, R2.

6. Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your controller, please observe the following:

• Do not use or store this product near fire sources or in damp/entorns polseosos.

7.1. Controller Reset

If your controller fails to pair, is unresponsive, or displays a flashing light indicating an error, you may need to reset it.

1. Locate the small reset button hole on the back of the controller (refer to Figure 9).
2. Use a small, pointed tool (like a straightened paperclip) to press the reset button inside the hole.
3. Hold the button for a few seconds, then release.
4. Attempt to reconnect the controller as per the setup instructions.

7.2. Problemes de connexió

• Ensure the controller is fully charged before attempting to connect.
• For wireless connections, verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device (console, PC, or smartphone).
• If connecting to PC wirelessly, ensure your PC has a working Bluetooth adapter.
• If the controller enters sleep mode due to inactivity, press the 'HOME' button to wake it up and attempt reconnection.
• If the controller fails to connect after multiple attempts, try resetting it as described above.
