3. Instal·lació i configuració
The Bafang DPC18 CAN display and its remote control are designed for easy installation on your e-bike handlebars. Ensure your motor uses the Bafang CAN protocol and has a compatible triangle plug connector.

- Attach the display mount to your handlebar using the provided rings and screws.
- Slide the DPC18 CAN display onto its mount.
- Secure the remote control to the handlebar in a comfortable position for easy access.

Connect the display cable to your Bafang CAN protocol motor's main cable. Ensure the green triangle plug is securely connected.
4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Definició clau
- Power Button (System On/Off): Press and hold for >2 seconds to turn the system ON/OFF.
- Light Button (Light On/Off): Press to turn headlights/taillights ON/OFF.
- Up Button (+): Increases support level, navigates up in menus.
- Down Button (-): Decreases support level, navigates down in menus.
- Info Button (i / Ok/Enter): Briefly press to cycle through display modes, confirms selections in menus.

4.3 Funcionament normal
4.3.1 Encendre/apagar el sistema
Press and hold the Power button (>2S) on the display to turn on the system. Press and hold it again (>2S) to turn off the system.
If the "automatic shutdown time" is set (e.g., 5 minutes), the display will automatically turn off when not in operation. If a password is enabled, you must enter it to use the system.
4.3.2 Selecció de nivells de suport
When the display is turned on, briefly press the + or - button (<0.5S) to switch to the support level. The lowest level is 0, the highest is 5. When switched on, the support level starts at level 1. There is no support at level 0.
4.3.3 Mode de selecció
Briefly press the Info button (0.5s) to cycle through different trip modes (TRIP, ODO, MAX, AVG, RANGE, CALORIES, TIME).
4.3.4 Headlights / Backlighting
Hold the Light button (>2S) to activate the headlight and taillights. Hold it again (>2S) to turn off the headlight. The brightness of the backlight can be set in the display settings "Brightness". If the display/pedelec is switched on in a dark environment, the display backlight/headlight will automatically switch on. If manually switched off, the automatic sensor function is deactivated. You can only turn on the light manually after switching on the system again.
4.3.5 ECO/SPORT Mode
Press and hold the + and - buttons together (<2S) to change between ECO mode and Sport mode (depending on the pedelec manufacturer's version).
4.3.6 Assistència a la caminada
Walk assistance can only be activated with a standing pedelec. To activate, press the - button until the walk assistance symbol appears. Then hold down the - button while the symbol is displayed. The walk assistance will activate, and the symbol will flash, moving the pedelec at approx. 6 km/h. After releasing the - button, the motor stops automatically and switches back to level 0.
4.4 Menú de configuració
After the display is turned on, quickly press the Info button twice to access the "SETTINGS" menu. Use the + or - buttons to select: Display Settings, Information, or EXIT. Press the Info button to confirm. If no button is pressed within 20 seconds, the display will automatically return to the main screen.
4.4.1 Display Setting Options
From the "SETTINGS" menu, select "Display Setting" and press Info to access:
- Unitat: Switch between Metric (km/h) or Imperial (mph).

- Brillantor: Adjust display brightness (100%, 75%, 50%, 30%, 10%).
- Apagat automàtic: Set automatic system shutdown time (OFF, 1-9 minutes).
- MÀX. PAS: Set maximum pedal assist system (PAS) levels (3, 5, or 9).
- Poder View: Choose between Power (watts) or Current (amperes) indicator.
- SOC View: Display battery state of charge (SOC) as Percent or Voltage.
- Restableix TRIP: Reset trip mileage (YES/NO).
- Sensibilitat AL: Adjust automatic headlight sensitivity (0-5, OFF).
- Contrasenya: Set, change, or deactivate a 4-digit password.

5. Manteniment
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your Bafang DPC18 CAN display, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Neteja: Do not use a steam jet, high-pressure cleaner, or water hose directly on the display. Avoid thinners or other solvents as they can damage the surface. Use a soft, damp drap per netejar.
- Exposició a l'aigua: While the product is waterproof (IP65), it is highly recommended to avoid submerging the display under water.

6. Troubleshooting: Error Code Definition
The display can show errors of the pedelec. If an error is detected, a wrench icon will appear on the display along with an error code. If the problem persists after restarting the system, contact your retailer.
