Model Variants: MT-01 (with DVR function), MT-02 (without DVR function)

1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Jansite Motorcycle DVR System. This device is designed to enhance your riding experience with advanced features like wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5-inch IPS display, and robust IP67 waterproofing. The MT-01 model includes front and rear cameras for recording, while the MT-02 model focuses on smart connectivity without recording capabilities. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper installation and operation.

2. Variants de producte

The Jansite Motorcycle DVR System comes in two main variants:

  • MT-01 (Motor DVR): Features a 5-inch IPS screen with front and rear lenses, providing full recording functionality.
  • MT-02 (Not DVR): Features a 5-inch IPS screen but does not include cameras and lacks recording functionality. This model focuses solely on wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

3. Configuració i instal·lació

Before installation, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Refer to the video below for a visual guide.

3.1. Contingut del paquet

Verify that your package contains the following items based on your model (MT-01 or MT-02):

  • Main Display Unit (5-inch IPS screen)
  • Mounting Bracket and Hardware (screws, ball joint mount)
  • Power Cable with Waterproof Connectors
  • (MT-01 only) Front Camera
  • (MT-01 only) Rear Camera
  • (MT-01 only) Camera Cables

3.2. Mounting the Display Unit

  1. Identify a suitable location on your motorcycle's handlebar or dashboard for optimal viewi accessibilitat.
  2. Attach the mounting bracket securely using the provided screws and tools. Ensure it is tightened to prevent vibration during rides.
  3. Connect the display unit to the mounting bracket's ball joint and adjust the viewing angle. Tighten the adjustment knob to secure the position.

3.3. Cablejat i connexió elèctrica

The system uses a corded electric power source. Ensure all connections are secure and waterproof.

  1. Connect the main power cable to your motorcycle's power supply (e.g., battery or ignition-switched power).
  2. Connect the waterproof connectors of the power cable to the main display unit.
  3. (MT-01 only) Connect the front and rear cameras to the designated ports on the main unit using the provided camera cables. Ensure the waterproof connectors are properly sealed.

3.4. Engegada inicial i configuració

  1. Once wired, turn on your motorcycle's ignition to power on the device.
  2. The unit may prompt for a password for security. Enter the default password (if any) or set a new one.
  3. Navigate to the 'Setup' menu to configure basic settings.
  4. Idioma: Select your preferred language from the 'System' -> 'Language' options.
  5. Emparellament Bluetooth: Pair your smartphone with the device via Bluetooth. The device name will typically be 'CAR-BT_A827' with a PIN Code '0000'.

The Jansite DVR System offers a range of functions for navigation, entertainment, and safety.

4.1. CarPlay sense fil i Android Auto

This system supports both wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing intelligent and safe use of your mobile phone while driving.

  1. Connexió sense fil: After initial Bluetooth pairing, confirm to use CarPlay or Android Auto on your phone. The connection uses 5G WiFi. CarPlay will connect automatically for iPhone users. Android phone users may need to tap on the screen to confirm Android Auto. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are active.
  2. Connexió per cable: Alternatively, you can connect your phone via USB for CarPlay or Android Auto.

4.2. Core Functions Overview

  • WiFi: For wireless CarPlay/Android Auto data transfer.
  • APP: Refers to smartphone integration for CarPlay/Android Auto.
  • IPS: High-quality IPS screen for clear visuals.

4.3. DVR Functions (MT-01 only)

For the MT-01 model, the following DVR features are available:

  • Enregistrament en bucle: Intelligent loop video recording ensures continuous footage. When the TF card is full, the earliest record file will automatically be overwritten.

  • G-Sensor Lock Video: A built-in gravity sensor automatically locks video in case of emergency (e.g., vibration or collision), preventing it from being overwritten.

4.4. Característiques de seguretat

The device includes a password protection feature to safeguard your property.

  • Protecció amb contrasenya: A password is required to turn on the machine. Even if the unit is stolen, no one else can use it without the password.

4.5. Navigation, Calls, and Music

Utilize your smartphone's features directly on the DVR screen:

  • Navegació: Use your preferred navigation app (e.g., Google Maps) for turn-by-turn directions.

5. Manteniment

5.1. Impermeabilització

The device boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It can be used normally during car cleaning and in rainy conditions.

5.2. Neteja

5.3. SD Card Management (MT-01 only)

Regularly check the status of your TF card. While loop recording overwrites old files, it's good practice to back up important footage and format the card periodically to maintain optimal performance.

6. Solució De Problemes

Q: CarPlay/Android Auto connection issues?
A: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are both enabled. For wireless connection, pair via Bluetooth first, then confirm the CarPlay/Android Auto prompt on your phone. Check that the 'Android Auto' app is installed on your Android phone.
Q: Date and time are incorrect after power cycle?
A: The device does not have a built-in power module to retain date/time settings when power is off. Once CarPlay is automatically connected to an iPhone, it will synchronize the time from the iPhone. For Android Auto, ensure your phone's time synchronization is active.
Q: Can I download APKs or install other apps?
A: No, the monitor does not run on an Android operating system and does not support downloading or installing APK files or other third-party applications. Its WiFi functionality is solely for CarPlay/Android Auto data transfer.

8. Consells d'usuari

  • The display unit itself is not designed to be easily removed from its housing, but the entire unit can be detached from the motorcycle mount if needed.
  • For optimal performance of CarPlay/Android Auto, ensure your smartphone's operating system is up to date.
  • Always use a Class 10 or higher speed Micro SD/TF card for reliable recording (MT-01 only).
