The Vgate VS890 MaxiScan is a versatile OBD2 diagnostic scanner designed for comprehensive vehicle diagnostics. - Pantalla LCD: 3-inch black mask LCD with wide visible area and high contrast, readable even in strong sunlight.
- YES Button: Press to confirm a selection or enter the next menu.
- NO Botó: Press to cancel a selection or return to the previous menu.
- Fletxes amunt/avall: Navigate through menu and submenu items.
- Question Mark Button: Read help information.

4. Configuració
- Localitza el port OBD2: The OBD2 port is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side of the vehicle.
- Connecteu l'escàner: Plug the OBD2 cable into the vehicle's OBD2 port and then connect the other end to the VS890 scanner.
- Encès: Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off). The scanner should power on automatically. If not, check the connection.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
The VS890 offers a range of diagnostic functions accessible through its main menu. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to navigate and the YES button to select.

5.1. Diagnòstic
This is the primary function for checking vehicle health. From the Main Menu, select '1. Diagnóstico' (Diagnostics).
- Seleccioneu el mode d'escaneig: Choose '1. Automática' (Automatic) for automatic protocol detection or '2. Manualmente' (Manually) to select the protocol yourself.
- Llegir els DTC: Select '1. Read DTCs' to view current, pending, and stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes. The scanner can display generic (P0, P2, P3, B0, U0, C0) and manufacturer-specific (P1, P3, B1, B2, U1, C1, C2) codes.
- Esborra els DTC: Select '2. Clear DTCs' to erase all DTCs, freeze frame data, oxygen sensor data, and reset I/M Monitors and the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). Caution: Clearing DTCs without addressing the underlying issue may lead to further problems.
- Flux de dades: Select '3. Data stream' to view live sensor data from the vehicle's ECU. You can choose 'Complete Data Set' or 'Customize Data Set'. This allows real-time monitoring of various parameters like engine load, coolant temperature, RPM, vehicle speed, spark advance, intake air temperature, throttle position, and O2 sensor voltages.

- Preparació I/M: Select '5. I/M Readiness' to check the status of emission-related monitoring systems.
