1. Introducció

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your HYTERA BD558 DMR Two-way Radio. 4. Guia de configuració

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Alineeu la bateria amb la ranura de la bateria a la part posterior de la ràdio.
2. Empenyeu suaument la bateria al seu lloc fins que faci clic de manera segura.
3. To remove, slide the battery latch (if present) and pull the battery away from the radio.

CAUTION: Never attempt to disassemble or modify the battery. Do not dispose of it in fire. Air pressure adjusting hole: Do not tamper with or cover!

4.2. Instal·lació de l'antena

1. Enrosqueu l'antena al connector de la part superior de la ràdio en sentit horari fins que quedi ben fixada.
2. No apretar massa.

4.3. Carregant la bateria

1. Connect the switching power adapter to the single unit charger.
2. Plug the adapter into an AC power outlet.
3. Place the radio with the battery installed into the charger slot.
4. El llum indicador de càrrega mostrarà l'estat de càrrega (per exemple, vermell per a la càrrega, verd per a la càrrega completa).

4.4. Installing the Belt Clip and Nylon Strap

1. Attach the belt clip to the designated slots on the back of the radio.
2. Thread the nylon strap through the loop on the radio for convenient carrying.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Encès / apagat

• To power on: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until a click is heard and the radio powers on.
• To power off: Rotate the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise until a click is heard and the radio powers off.

5.2. Ajust de volum

Gireu el botó d'engegada/volum en sentit horari per augmentar el volum i en sentit antihorari per disminuir-lo.

5.3. Selecció de canals

The BD558 supports 256 channels across 16 zones in digital mode. Use the Channel Selector knob (typically the top knob next to the antenna) to select the desired channel.

5.4. Transmitting and Receiving (Push-to-Talk - PTT)

• To transmit: Press and hold the PTT button (located on the side of the radio). Speak clearly into the microphone.
• To receive: Release the PTT button. The radio will automatically receive signals on the selected channel.

5.5. Dual Modes (Analog & Digital)

The BD558 operates in both analog and digital modes. The radio can be programmed to switch between these modes or operate on mixed channels, allowing for seamless communication with both analog and digital radios.
