Configuració

Instal·lació

The M7 HUD is designed for simple, non-destructive plug-and-play installation.

1. Connectar l'alimentació: Plug the OBD cable into your car's OBD socket. If your car's voltage is higher than 24V, use the provided USB cable with a cigarette lighter adapter.
2. Cable de ruta: Carefully insert the wire rod into the A-pillar sealing strip to conceal the cable.
3. HUD de posició: Connect the OBD interface to the HUD unit and place the HUD in the desired position on your dashboard, typically on the center console, ensuring a clear view for projection onto the windshield.

Selecció del sistema

The M7 HUD is a dual-system device (OBDII and GPS). Upon power-on, you have 5 seconds to select your preferred system:

• Within 5 seconds after power on, use the scroll wheel (left dial) to select between the OBDII and GPS systems.
• If no operation is performed within 5 seconds, the HUD will automatically enter the last selected system.
• OBDII System: Supports standard OBD2 interface cars (typically after 2007). Displays vehicle speed, RPM, water temperature, voltage, distance traveled, RPM icon, and decoration icon.
• Sistema GPS: Universal and compatible with all cars. Displays speed, voltage, number of satellites, speed icon, and decoration icon.

Nota:

• If the OBDII system is not compatible with your vehicle, unplug the power supply once and then re-select the GPS system.

Modes de visualització

The M7 HUD offers various display modes to suit your preferences and driving needs. You can switch between these modes using the scroll wheel.

OBD Display Information

When operating in OBDII mode, the HUD can display a wide range of vehicle data and alarm functions:

• Visualització de dades: Driving speed, Engine RPM, Instant voltage, Water temperature, Driving mileage, Auto photosensitive brightness, KM/H or MPH, °C or °F, Water temperature progress bar.
• Funcions d'alarma: Speed alarm, Water temperature alarm, Voltage alarm, Off time setting, Single segment alarm setting, 4-segment alarm setting, Water temperature alarm setting, Voltage alarm setting.

GPS Display Information

When operating in GPS mode, the HUD provides essential navigation and vehicle data:

The M7 HUD is equipped with an automatic brightness adjustment feature. It configures sightseeing elements to adapt the display's brightness according to the strength of the outside light, ensuring the display is clearly visible in bright sunlight and not overly bright at night.

Automatic On/Off and Power Saving

The HUD unit is designed for convenience and power efficiency. It will automatically turn on and off in conjunction with your vehicle's engine operation. This hands-free operation ensures that the device is ready when you start driving and conserves power when the engine is off.

Shading Integrated Design

The M7 HUD features an original integrated lens hood design. This design effectively reduces glare and prevents dazzling, especially when driving at night, ensuring that the projected information remains clear and easy to read without causing discomfort.

Configuració

Entreu al mode de configuració

To access the setting menu and customize parameters:

1. Long press the scroll wheel button vertically inwards for 5 seconds to enter the setup items. The menu will display '1'.
2. Use the scroll wheel (left and right toggle) to select different menu items (1-11).
3. Short press the scroll wheel button vertically to enter the parameter value for the selected item.
4. Use the scroll wheel (left and right toggle) to change the parameter value.
5. Short press the scroll wheel vertically to return to the menu.
6. Long press the scroll wheel vertically for 5 seconds to save your changes and exit the setting mode.

Restaura la configuració de fàbrica

If you wish to revert all settings to their original factory defaults:

• When the HUD is off, press and hold the scroll wheel vertically.
• While holding the scroll wheel, turn on the power. The screen will fully illuminate.
• Release the scroll wheel button to restore the factory settings.

Eliminate Fault Codes (OBDII Mode Only)

To clear any stored fault codes from your vehicle's ECU:

• After powering on and connecting to the OBDII protocol, right dial the scroll wheel for 5 seconds. The HUD screen will fully illuminate, indicating that fault codes are being cleared.
• Right dial the scroll wheel again for 5 seconds to restore the normal display.

Switch Alarm Sound

You can toggle the alarm sound (buzzer) on or off:

• When the HUD is displaying normally, left dial the scroll wheel for 5 seconds. You will hear a 'drops' sound, indicating the buzzer is now active.
• To close the buzzer, long left dial the scroll wheel again for 5 seconds.

Resolució de problemes

• El HUD no s'encén: Ensure the OBD cable or USB cable is securely connected to both the HUD and the vehicle's power source. Check the vehicle's OBD port for power.
• No display or incorrect data in OBDII mode: If your vehicle is not OBDII compliant (e.g., pre-2007 models), or if there's an incompatibility, unplug the power supply once and then re-select the GPS system. Ensure the vehicle's engine is running.
• Inaccurate speed display: In setting mode, you can adjust the speed calibration parameter to match your vehicle's actual speed (e.g., compare with GPS speed on your phone).
• Double image on windshield: Ensure the reflective film is properly applied to the windshield. Adjust the HUD's position or angle slightly.
• Les alarmes no funcionen: Check the alarm sound setting to ensure the buzzer is enabled. Verify alarm thresholds in the setting mode.
• HUD automatically shuts off: Assegureu-vos que el vol operatiutage is within the specified range (11V~18Vdc). If your car's voltage is higher than 24V, you must use the USB cable for power.
