1. Introducció

The KERUI D121 is a wireless door/window sensor alarm system designed to enhance home security. It features a loud 120dB alarm, multiple operating modes, and can be controlled remotely. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your D121 alarm system.

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the D121 sensor unit.
2. Introduïu dues (2) piles AAA d'1.5 V, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

4.2 Instal·lació del sensor

The D121 sensor and its magnetic counterpart are designed for easy installation using double-sided tape.

1. Clean the surface of the door/window frame and the door/window itself where you intend to install the sensor.
2. Peel off the protective backing from the double-sided tape on the back of the main D121 sensor unit and the smaller magnetic strip.
3. Attach the main D121 sensor unit to the door or window frame.
4. Attach the smaller magnetic strip to the door or window itself, aligning it closely with the main sensor unit. Ensure the two parts are no more than 1cm apart when the door/window is closed.

4.3 Pairing Remote Controls and Detectors

The D121 alarm system can be paired with up to 30 remote controls or additional detectors.

1. Introduïu el mode de vinculació: Long press the 'SET' button on the D121 sensor unit for 5 seconds. The host will beep once, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. Pair Accessory: While the host is in pairing mode, press any button on the remote control (e.g., Arm, Disarm, SOS) or trigger the detector (e.g., separate the magnetic sensor). The host will beep twice to confirm successful pairing.
3. Sortir del mode de vinculació: The host will automatically exit pairing mode after 20 seconds of inactivity, or you can short press the 'SET' button to exit manually.

Nota:

• If an accessory has already been matched, the host will beep once when you try to pair it again.
• To delete all paired accessories and restore factory settings, long press the 'SET' button until the host beeps 10 times.

5.1 Funcions de control remot

The RC532 remote control provides convenient access to the alarm system's functions:

• Doorbell/Alarm Switch: Toggles between doorbell chime mode and alarm mode.
• SOS: Triggers an emergency alarm.

5.2 Modes d'alarma

The D121 offers four distinct alarm modes, selectable by pressing the 'SET' button on the main unit:

• Intruder Alarm Mode (#1): When armed, a loud 120dB alarm sounds if the magnetic sensor is separated (door/window opened).
• Entry Doorbell Mode (#2): A chime sounds when the door/window is opened, suitable for welcoming guests or monitoring entry in a commercial setting.
• Open Alarm Mode (#3): Similar to intruder alarm, but may have different sensitivity or duration settings.
• Open Reminder Mode (#4): Provides a reminder (e.g., a softer chime or repeated chime) if a door/window remains open for a certain period.

5.3 Funció SOS

In an emergency, pressing the SOS button on the remote control will immediately trigger the alarm, providing a quick way for individuals, especially seniors, to call for help.

5.4 Sistema expandible

The D121 system is expandable and can integrate with other KERUI security accessories such as PIR motion detectors, smoke detectors, and gas detectors to create a comprehensive home security solution.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Substitució de la bateria

The D121 sensor is powered by two AAA batteries. When the battery power is low, the alarm volume will decrease, and the alarm duration may shorten. This indicates that the batteries need to be replaced. If the batteries are too low, the sensor may not function correctly or alarm at all.

To replace batteries, follow the steps in Section 4.1 Battery Installation.

7. Solució De Problemes

• L'alarma no sona o és massa baixa: Check the batteries in the D121 sensor unit. Low battery power will reduce the alarm volume and duration. Replace with fresh AAA batteries if needed.
• El comandament a distància no funciona: Ensure the remote control is paired with the D121 sensor (refer to Section 4.3). Check the remote control's battery if applicable.
• L'alarma s'activa inesperadament: Verify that the magnetic sensor and the main unit are properly aligned and securely attached. Ensure they are not separating due to loose mounting or vibrations.
• Alarm does not trigger when door/window opens: Check the alignment and proximity of the main sensor unit and the magnetic strip. They should be no more than 1cm apart when the door/window is closed. Ensure the system is in an armed mode (Intruder Alarm Mode or Open Alarm Mode).
• Remote controls are not pre-configured: If you purchased a kit with remote controls, they should be pre-configured. However, if they are not responding, follow the pairing instructions in Section 4.3 to pair them manually.
• Alarm duration after a trigger: The alarm will sound for approximately 60 seconds after being triggered. If a burglar enters and closes the door quickly, the alarm will still sound for its full duration.
