1. Introducció

The Yieryi PH-W218 is an advanced 8-in-1 WiFi Tuya Smart Water Quality Tester designed for continuous online monitoring of various water parameters. This device provides real-time data for pH, ORP, TDS, EC, Salt, S.G (Specific Gravity), Temperature, and CF (Conductivity Factor). It is suitable for a wide range of applications including aquariums, mariculture, drinking water analysis, hydroponics, laboratories, spas, and swimming pools. The tester integrates with the Tuya Smart APP for convenient remote monitoring, data logging, and alert notifications.

3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació física

The PH-W218 features a wall-mounted design for easy installation. Use the provided suction cups and clip to securely mount the main monitor unit in a suitable location. Ensure the location is dry and not exposed to water or dampness, as the tester is not waterproof.

3.2 Connexió de la sonda

Connect each probe to its corresponding port on the main monitor unit. The probes are labeled for PH, ORP, PPM/EC/Salt/S.G./CF, and Temperature. Ensure connections are secure.

Connect the provided power adapter to the main monitor unit and a suitable power outlet. Important: Do not use a mobile phone USB cable to power the device; use only the supplied power adapter.

3.4 Tuya Smart APP & WiFi Connection

1. Download the "Tuya Smart" APP from your device's app store (compatible with Apple and Android systems).

3. On the PH-W218 main unit, long press the "MODE" key (PPM/EC/SALT/S.G/CF section) to turn WiFi on/off. The WiFi indicator should blink.
4. In the Tuya Smart APP, follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. The app should discover the "WiFi smart online 8-in-1" device.
5. Enter your WiFi network details (SSID and password) when prompted.
6. Once connected, the device will appear in your app, and you can begin real-time monitoring.

4. Funcionament

4.1 Mesura bàsica

Once the device is powered on and probes are connected, immerse the electrodes into the water sample you wish to test. The LCD screen on the main unit will display real-time readings for all parameters. The Tuya Smart APP will also show these readings.

Short press the "MODE" key (PPM/EC/SALT/S.G/CF section) to cycle through the display of PPM, EC, SALT, S.G, and CF parameters.

4.4 Real-time Monitoring via APP

The Tuya Smart APP provides a comprehensive interface for real-time monitoring. You can view current data, historical data, and set alarm thresholds for various parameters. The app automatically converts language and region settings based on your phone's configuration.

The device logs data continuously, transmitting a set of data every 15 seconds. You can view data curve graphs for daily, weekly, and monthly periods within the app for analysis.

5. Calibració

Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your water quality tester. Use the provided calibration powders and solutions as instructed.

5.1 PH Calibration

The PH-W218 supports 3-point pH calibration. You can choose between two sets of calibration points: 6.86, 4.00, and 9.18, or 7.00, 4.00, and 10.00. The factory default calibration is 6.86, 4.00, and 9.18.

To calibrate pH:

1. Prepare the pH buffer solutions (e.g., pH 4.01, pH 6.86, pH 9.18).
2. Long press the "TEMP CAL" key (PH/TEMP section) to enter PH calibration mode.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts or app instructions to calibrate each point by immersing the PH probe in the respective buffer solution.

5.2 ORP Calibration

ORP calibration points are 265mV and 100mV. Use the provided ORP calibration powder to prepare the solution and follow the calibration procedure as outlined in the app or detailed manual.

5.3 EC Calibration

EC calibration points are 12.88ms/cm and 1.413ms/cm. Use the provided conductivity solutions and follow the calibration procedure.

7. Manteniment
