3.2 Device Activation and Software Update

Upon receiving the scanner, register the device's serial number (S/N) on the official XTOOL website to activate your 3-year warranty and lifetime free software updates. The device runs on a Linux system and requires an internet connection for updates.

Nota: The default language is English. To change to another language, provide your device's S/N to customer service. After activation, remember to download and update the language pack.

3.3 Connexió al vehicle

1. Locate your vehicle's OBD-II port, typically under the dashboard on the driver's side.
2. Connect the OBDII Main Cable to the XTOOL IP500 Tablet.
