4. Contingut del paquet
El vostre paquet hauria d'incloure els elements següents:
- Surpass Hobby M Series Waterproof ESC (35A, 45A, or 60A model as selected)
- Optional: Programming Card (may be sold separately or included depending on package)
5. Instal·lació i configuració
Follow these steps to properly install your ESC in your RC vehicle:
- Muntatge de l'ESC: Securely mount the ESC in your RC car chassis using double-sided tape or screws, ensuring good airflow for cooling.
- Connexió del motor: Connect the three motor wires from the ESC to your brushless motor. The order of connection may affect motor rotation direction; if the motor spins in the wrong direction, swap any two of the three wires.
- Connexió de la bateria: Connect your battery pack to the ESC's power input wires. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative). The ESC supports T-Plug or XT60 Plug connectors depending on the variant.
- Connexió del receptor: Plug the ESC's 3-pin servo connector (usually black, red, white/orange wires) into the throttle channel (typically channel 2) of your RC receiver.
- Interruptor d'alimentació: Ensure the ESC's power switch is accessible for easy on/off control.
Important Note for Water Use:
- Before using the ESC in water, please uninstall the cooling fan.
- After use in water, clean and dry the ESC thoroughly to prevent the connectors from rusting.
6. Funcionament
Once the ESC is correctly installed and connected:
- Turn on your RC transmitter first.
- Then, turn on the ESC using its power switch.
- The ESC will perform a self-test and emit a series of beeps.
- Calibrate the throttle range if necessary (refer to your transmitter's manual for throttle calibration procedures).
- You are now ready to operate your RC vehicle.
- To power off, turn off the ESC first, then your transmitter.
7. Programming Card Usage
The optional programming card allows you to adjust various parameters of your ESC. Connect the programming card to the ESC's programming port (usually the receiver cable port, or a dedicated port if available) before powering on the ESC.
Available settings on the programming card include:
- Volum baixtage Tall: Estableix el voltage at which the ESC will reduce power to protect your battery. Options typically include 3.1V, 2.9V, 2.7V, or 0V (no cut-off, not recommended for LiPo).
- Modes d'inici: Adjust the initial acceleration response. Options like Medium, Soft, or Strong.
- Màx. Força de frenada: Configure the maximum braking power. Options may include 50%, 75%, 100% (for 25A/35A/45A/60A/120A).
- Màx. Força inversa: Set the maximum power for reverse movement. Options may include 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%.
- Interval neutre: Define the dead band around the neutral throttle position. Options like 9%, 6%, 12%, or Work State.
Use the buttons on the programming card to navigate and select your desired settings. Press 'Programme' to save changes and 'Reset' to restore factory defaults.
8. Manteniment
- Regularly inspect all wires and connectors for damage or loose connections.
- Keep the ESC clean and free from dirt, dust, and debris.
- If used in wet conditions, ensure the ESC is thoroughly dried and cleaned immediately after use to prevent corrosion, especially on connectors.
- Ensure the cooling fan (if installed) is free from obstructions and functioning correctly.
9. Solució De Problemes
| Problema | Causa possible | Solució |
|---|---|---|
| L'ESC no s'encén | Incorrect battery connection; faulty battery; ESC switch off. | Check battery polarity and connection; ensure battery is charged; turn on ESC switch. |
| Motor not responding or erratic behavior | Throttle signal loss; motor blocked; incorrect motor wiring; ESC not calibrated. | Check receiver connection; ensure motor is free; verify motor wiring; calibrate ESC throttle range. |
| Motor beeps "Beep-Beep" and LED flashes | Vol baixtage cut-off protection activated. | Recharge or replace battery. Check low voltage cut-off setting on programming card. |
| Motor spins in wrong direction | Incorrect motor wire connection. | Swap any two of the three motor wires. |
10. Consells d'usuari
- Funcionalitat inversa: The ESC does support reverse, which can be adjusted via the programming card's 'Max. reverse force' setting.
- Compatibilitat de la bateria: The 60A ESC model supports 2S (7.4V) and 3S (11.1V) LiPo batteries, as well as 4-9 cell NiMH batteries, as detailed in the specifications. Always ensure your battery voltage matches the ESC's capabilities.
- Motor Connector Size: While not explicitly stated, the motor connectors are typically standard bullet connectors (e.g., 3.5mm or 4mm) compatible with most brushless RC motors. Ensure a snug fit for optimal performance.
