Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of the NJTY T02A Multifunction Non-Contact High Voltage Induction Tester. This device is designed for detecting AC voltage, identifying live and neutral wires, and locating breakpoints in electrical circuits without direct contact. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation.
Instruccions i advertències de seguretat
- To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, always read and strictly observe all precautions, cautions, and warnings listed in this manual.
- If the stylus is not used in accordance with these instructions, the protection provided by the stylus may be compromised or fail.
- Before each use, test the stylus on a known live power source to ensure it is in normal working condition.
- Even if there is no display or audible alarm, voltage may still be present. The stylus indicates effective voltage when the power supply generates a sufficient electrostatic field. If the field strength is weak, the stylus may not detect voltage. La presència de volumtage can be affected by factors such as shielded wires, insulation thickness, distance from the voltage source, and socket design.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly. Inspect the probe tip for cracks or breaks before use. If a problem is suspected, send it for repair.
- No apliqueu més del volum nominaltage marked on the stylus. Exercise caution when testing voltages above 30V AC, as there is a risk of electric shock.
- Always observe local and national safety codes and use appropriate protective equipment.

Configuració
Instal·lació de la bateria
The device requires 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included by default). To install or replace batteries:
- Rotate the battery negative screw cap (component 11 in Figure 1) to open the battery compartment.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct positive (+) and negative (-) polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
- Securely close the battery compartment by rotating the cap back into place.

Avís: Per evitar descàrregues elèctriques, no utilitzeu el llapis per a volums.tage detection until the battery cover is securely locked.
Instruccions de funcionament
Encès/Apagat
- Encendre: Press and hold the power button (component 8 in Figure 1) for more than 1 second. The device will beep once, and the power indicator (component 7) will light up, indicating it has entered the test state.
- Apagar: While the device is on, press the power switch (component 8) to turn it off.
High and Low Sensitivity Switching (H/L)
The device defaults to low-sensitivity test state when turned on. To switch between high and low sensitivity:
- Press the sensitivity switch (component 9 in Figure 1).
- When the sensitivity indicator (light on the bottom of the button) is on, the device is in high sensitivity test state.
- When the sensitivity indicator is off, the device is in low sensitivity test state.
Nota: High sensitivity range: 12V-1000V AC. Low sensitivity range: 48V-1000V AC.
Vol. ACtage Detecció
When the probe (NCV sensor head, component 1) is placed near an AC voltage source, the signal indicator (component 3) will light up. The intensity of the signal indicators (strong/weak, components 5 & 6) and the frequency of the beeping chirps will increase or decrease with the strength of the sensed signal.
- A weak signal will illuminate the yellow light.
- A strong signal will illuminate the red light.
- A weak signal results in a slow beep; a strong signal results in a rapid beep.

Live/Neutral Wire Detection
To distinguish between live and neutral wires:
- The neutral or weak electric field will typically only trigger the yellow light.
- Only the hot (live) line will typically trigger the red light.
- If live and neutral lines are close, try to separate them as much as possible. If separation is not possible, distinguish based on the strength of the detected signal: the stronger signal indicates the live line, and the weaker signal indicates the neutral line.

Detecció de punts d'interrupció
The device can be used for breakpoint detection in wires, cables, and circuits. Move the probe along the wire; a change or loss of signal indicates a potential breakpoint.

Illumination / Laser Function
The device includes a flashlight and a laser pointer for convenience in various environments.
- Llanterna: Briefly press the lighting and laser switching key (component 10 in Figure 1) to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Punter làser: Press and hold the lighting and laser switching key (component 10) for 2 seconds to turn the laser pointer on or off.

Apagat automàtic
To conserve battery life, the test pen will automatically shut down after approximately 5 minutes of inactivity (no induction signal or operation).

Sota el voltage Alerta
Quan la bateria voltage drops below approximately 2.4V, the test pen will automatically shut down. Before shutting down, the buzzer will beep three times, and the red light will flash three times. Replace the batteries immediately when this occurs.

Resolució de problemes (PMF)
Problems with Static Electricity
The device may exhibit certain behaviors due to static electricity, which are normal and do not indicate a malfunction:
- After turning on, it may make a few sounds when placed on a table.
- It may beep if quickly swept through the air.
- It may cause a false alarm if it rubs against hair or clothes.
These are normal phenomena caused by static electricity. Any alarm caused by static electricity typically occurs only 1-2 times at a time.
Coupling Signals
The device may alarm in the presence of low-voltage DC sources or ungrounded electrical appliances with metal casings. This is normal and occurs because switching power supplies or common frequency signals can couple to wires or casings, causing a detection.
Consells per a l'usuari
- Always ensure fresh batteries are installed for optimal performance and accurate readings.
- When distinguishing between live and neutral wires, try to isolate the wires if possible to get a clearer reading. If not, rely on the stronger signal for the live wire.
- Utilize the flashlight function in dimly lit areas for better visibility during testing.
- Remember that the device has an automatic shutdown feature, which helps save battery life during periods of inactivity.
