It supports transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on the 5GHz band, offering enhanced wireless performance, transmission rates, and stability. The device automatically avoids channel conflicts through its channel selection feature.

4.1 Instal·lació física

1. Col·loca les antenes: Carefully screw the two 7dBi omni-directional antennas onto the connectors at the top of the WAVLINK Outdoor Access Point unit.
2. Muntatge: Use the provided mounting straps, screws, and wall anchors to securely attach the device to a pole or wall in your desired outdoor location. Ensure the device is installed vertically with antennas pointing upwards.

4.2 Powering On (PoE Connection)

The WAVLINK Outdoor Access Point is powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE). The PoE converter is NOT waterproof and must be installed indoors.

1. Connect Ethernet Cable to Device: Connect one end of an Ethernet cable (CAT5E or above certified, maximum length 100m / 328ft) to the WAN/LAN (PoE) port at the bottom of the Outdoor Access Point.
2. Connect to PoE Adapter: Connect the other end of this Ethernet cable to the port labeled 'PoE' on the PoE adapter.

• No Wi-Fi Signal or Poor Connection:
  • Check the Wi-Fi LED indicator on the device. If it's off or blinking abnormally, there might be a configuration issue.
  • Ensure the antennas are securely attached and oriented correctly.
  • Verify the device is operating in the correct mode (AP/Router or Repeater) for your network setup.
  • Relocate the device to a higher position (2-3 meters above ground) or away from obstructions for better signal propagation.
  • Check for interference from other wireless devices or strong electromagnetic fields.

  • Ensure your computer or mobile device is connected to the device's Wi-Fi network (WAVLINK-AC XXXX or WAVLINK-N XXXX).
  • Verify that you have typed the correct IP address (192.168.10.1) into your browser's address bar.
  • Temporarily disable any VPN or proxy settings on your device.

• Forgot Administrator Password:
  • If you forget your administrator password, you can perform a factory reset. Locate the Reset button on the bottom of the device (refer to Figure 4.3). With the device powered on, use a paperclip or similar pointed object to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 8 seconds until the LEDs flash. The device will restart with default settings (password: admin).
