1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Anmite 18.5-inch Portable Monitor. This monitor is designed to provide a high-quality visual experience with its 1080P resolution, 100Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and low blue light features. It is versatile and compatible with a wide range of devices, including PCs, laptops, gaming consoles (Xbox, PS4/PS5, Switch), and mobile phones, making it ideal for work, gaming, and entertainment on the go.

Before using the monitor, please read this manual carefully to ensure proper installation, operation, and maintenance.

5. Configuració i connexions

5.1. Configuració física

The monitor comes with an ordinary bracket for desktop use. It also supports VESA wall mounting with 7.5cm x 7.5cm hole spacing for alternative installations.

5.2. Connexió del monitor

Ensure the monitor is powered on by connecting the power adapter to the monitor's Type-C port and a wall outlet. For optimal performance and to prevent flickering, a 65W or higher PD power supply is recommended, especially when using a single Type-C cable for both power and display.

5.2.1. Laptop/PC Connection

• With Type-C Port (Power & Display):
  Connect the monitor to your laptop/PC using the provided Type-C cable. Ensure your laptop's Type-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). If the power supply is insufficient, the screen may flicker. Use the wall charger to power the monitor.
• Amb port HDMI:
  Connect the monitor to your laptop/PC using the provided HDMI to Mini HDMI cable. An additional Type-C cable connected to the power adapter is required for power supply.
• With (mini) DisplayPort (e.g., Surface Pro):
  An (Mini)DP to HDMI adapter (not included) is required. Connect the adapter to your laptop/PC, then use an HDMI cable to connect the adapter to the monitor. Power the monitor via Type-C with the wall charger.

5.2.2. Gaming Console Connection (PS5/PS4/Xbox/Switch)

• PS5/PS4/Xbox:
  Connect the console to the monitor using an HDMI cable. Power the monitor via Type-C with the wall charger.
• Nintendo Switch:
  Connect the Switch to the monitor using a Type-C cable. The Switch cannot provide enough power for the monitor. Use the Switch's original PD charger and plug it into the monitor's Type-C port. A 65W or higher PD power supply is recommended if using other chargers.

5.2.3. Mobile Phone Connection

Before connecting your phone, ensure it supports Type-C 3.1 or Thunderbolt 3.0 video output, and DP Alt Mode or MHL protocol mode.

• Android Phone (Type-C):
  Connect your Android phone to the monitor using a Type-C cable. If your phone cannot provide enough power for high brightness, plug a wall charger into the monitor's Type-C port. Some phones (e.g., Google Pixel) may not support video output via Type-C and may require an Android to HDTV cable for screen mirroring.
• iPhone (Lightning):
  A Lightning to HDMI adapter (not included) is required. Connect the adapter to your iPhone, then use an HDMI cable to connect the adapter to the monitor. Plug a wall charger into the adapter's lightning port to power it.

6. Funcionament del monitor

6.1. Menú de visualització en pantalla (OSD).

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the buttons on the monitor to navigate and select options.

6.1.1. Brightness/Volume Menu

6.1.3. Configuració OSD

• H. Posició: Positions the menu window horizontally.
• V.Posició: Adjusts the position of the menu window.
• Hora del menú: The menu window disappears automatically in seconds.
• Transparència: Adjusts menu window transparency settings.

6.1.4. Configuració de la temperatura

• Adjusts the tint of the screen to 9300K, 7500K, 6500K, 5800K, sRGB, User.

6.1.5. Configuració avançada

• Ultra HDR Mode: HDR turn on/off or auto.
• Protecció ocular: Eye protection turn on or off.
• So 3D: 3D sound turn on or off.
• Punt de mira: Crosshair turn on or off.

6.1.6. Color Effect

• Saturació: Range 0-100.
• Hue: Range 0-100.
• Nitidez: Sharpness turn on or off.

6.1.7. Restablir

• Resets all display settings to factory defaults.

6.1.8. Informació

• Displays current input (e.g., HDMI), resolution, refresh rate, and other signal information.

6.2. Display Modes (Windows & Mac OS)

6.2.1. Windows: Duplicate/Extend/Second Screen

• Select "Duplicate these displays" for mirroring, "Extend these displays" for an extended desktop, or "Show only on 2" for using only the portable monitor.
• To extend the screen to the left side: In "Display settings", drag the image of the portable monitor to the left of your primary display and click Apply.

6.2.2. Mac OS: Duplicate/Extend/Second Screen

6.3. Portrait/Landscape Mode

The monitor itself does not have a built-in vertical screen function. These functions can only be set on the connected mobile phone or computer. The monitor only provides display functions. To use portrait mode, you must set your mobile phone to computer mode or configure the display orientation on your computer.

7. Manteniment

7.1. Neteja del monitor

• Desendolleu sempre el monitor de la presa de corrent abans de netejar-lo.
• Utilitzeu un drap suau i sense pelusa lleugerament dampEsbandiu amb aigua per netejar la pantalla. Eviteu utilitzar alcohol, dissolvents o productes de neteja abrasius.
• Per al monitor casing, feu servir un drap suau i sec.
• No ruixeu líquids de neteja directament sobre la pantalla ni sobre elasing.

7.2. Emmagatzematge

• When not in use for an extended period, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• It is recommended to store the monitor in its original packaging to protect it from dust and physical damage.

8.1. Problemes comuns i solucions

• Pantalla negra o sense senyal
  
  • Ensure you are using the original Type-C 3.1 signal transmission cable. Type-C 3.0 data cables do not support video signals.
  • Plug the wall charger into the monitor's Type-C port for power, then connect the signal cable (USB-C or HDMI) to your device.
  • For devices with only a Type-C port for display, verify if your laptop/phone supports Type-C 3.1 or Thunderbolt 3.0 video output. Some models (e.g., HP Elitebook, Acer Aspire, Google Pixel) may not support video output.
  • In Windows, set the display mode to "Extend".
  • Test the monitor with other devices or cables to isolate the problem.
• Monitor Constantly Flickering/Restarting
  
  • This is usually caused by insufficient power. A PD power supply of 30W or higher is recommended.
  • If using a single Type-C cable for power and signal, some devices may not provide enough power. Connect a power adapter to the monitor.
  • If using HDMI, a two-cable connection is required (HDMI for video, Type-C for power). Power from a wall adapter (30W+ PD recommended) or a computer's USB port (may cause dimming/flickering if insufficient).
• Monitor cannot be turned on
  
  • Check if the monitor and your device are powered on.
  • Ensure all cables are connected correctly.
  • Test with other available devices or cables.
  • If using USB-C for power and signal, ensure the laptop provides sufficient power. If using HDMI, a separate power supply via Type-C is mandatory (30W+ PD recommended).
• Screen flickering (general)

  • Try replacing cables or devices.
• Electric current or rustling sound
  
  • Confirm the source of the noise. Re-plug interfaces or replace cables if it's a connection noise.
  • If the sound comes from the adapter or speaker, it may indicate a quality issue with the power adapter.
• Does it support vertical screen?
  The monitor itself does not have a vertical screen function. This must be configured on the connected mobile phone or computer (e.g., phone's computer mode or computer's display orientation settings).
• Does it support touch function?
  This product is available in non-touch versions. Please ensure you purchased the correct model if touch functionality is desired.
• How to connect to a laptop without an HDMI port (e.g., Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Book, HP EliteBook)?

  If the iPad has a Type-C port, it will work well with a single Type-C cable. For iPads with a Lightning port, a Lightning to HDMI adapter is required.
• How to save brightness settings?
  The monitor automatically saves all settings when using Type-C or HDMI connections for display. However, if a single Type-C connection for power and display does not provide enough power, the monitor may automatically reset brightness to 30.
• Can the monitor work with Apple iPhones?
  Basically not, unless it's an iPhone 15 Pro or higher version which may support screen casting, but typically without vertical screen or touch functions. A Lightning to HDMI adapter is required for older iPhones.

9. Consells d'usuari

• Power Supply is Key: Many issues like flickering or 'no signal' are often due to insufficient power. Always ensure the monitor receives adequate power, especially when connecting to power-hungry devices or using HDMI. A 30W or higher Power Delivery (PD) charger is highly recommended.
