1. Precaucions de seguretat

The instrument is not allowed to be disassembled or repaired in any way. It is forbidden to make any illegal modification or performance change for the laser emitter.
Please keep it out of reach of children and avoid use by any irrelevant personnel.
It is strictly prohibited to shoot eyes or other parts of the body with the laser; it is not allowed to use the laser to shoot any object's surface with strong reflection.
Due to electromagnetic radiation interference to other equipment and devices, please do not use the meter in an airplane or around medical equipment. Do not use it in inflammable, explosive environments.
Discarded batteries or meter devices shall not be processed like household garbage; please handle them in line with related laws and regulations.

The NOYAFA NF-270 Laser Distance Meter is a versatile tool designed for precise measurements of distance, length, height, width, area, and volume. It features a high-definition large LCD screen for clear function display even in dark environments, and incorporates dual-sending single-receiving millimeter-level measurement accuracy with infrared technology. The device is compact, portable, and designed for durability with HTV Silica Gel casing.

3. Configuració

3.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The NF-270 requires 3 AAA batteries (included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the device and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

3.2. Encendre/apagar

Activar: Premeu llargament el botó Engegar/Esborrar botó () durant 2 segons.
Apagar: Premeu llargament el botó Engegar/Esborrar botó () for 2 seconds. The device will also auto-off after 180 seconds of no operation.

3.3. Benchmark Switching

Premeu el botó Benchmark & Unit Switch botó ( Benchmark & Unit Switch button icon ) to switch the measurement benchmark. You can measure from the front side or the end side of the device. The display will indicate the current benchmark.

3.4. Canvi d'unitats

Premeu llargament el botó Benchmark & Unit Switch botó ( Benchmark & Unit Switch button icon ) for 2 seconds to cycle through measurement units: meters (m), feet (ft), inches (in), and feet+inches (ft+in).

4.2. Mesura única

To measure a single distance:

Premeu el botó MEAS botó () to turn on the laser.
Apunteu el làser al punt objectiu.
Premeu el botó MEAS botó () again. The measurement result will be displayed on the screen.

4.3. Mesura contínua

For continuous measurement (tracking Max/Min values):

Premeu llargament el botó MEAS botó () for 2 seconds to enter continuous measurement mode. The MAX and MIN values will be displayed.
Move the device to track measurements.
Premeu MEAS or Engegar/Esborrar to exit. The device will also stop if no operation occurs after 3 minutes.

4.4. Mesurament d'àrea i circumferència

To measure area and circumference:

Premeu el botó Funció d'interruptor botó () until the area/circumference icon appears.

The device will display the circumference on the third line and the area data on the last line.

4.5. Mesura de volum

To measure volume:

Premeu el botó Funció d'interruptor botó () until the volume icon appears.
Premeu MEAS per mesurar la longitud.
Premeu MEAS de nou per mesurar l'amplada.
Premeu MEAS una tercera vegada per mesurar l'alçada.

4.6. Mesura pitagòrica

The NF-270 supports two types of Pythagorean measurements:

4.6.1. First Pythagorean Measurement (Indirect Height)

Premeu el botó Funció d'interruptor botó () until the first Pythagorean icon appears.
Premeu MEAS to measure the hypotenuse (diagonal distance).
Premeu MEAS again to measure the base (horizontal distance).
The device will automatically calculate and display the height (L).

4.6.2. Second Pythagorean Measurement (Indirect Height with two hypotenuses)

Premeu el botó Funció d'interruptor botó () until the second Pythagorean icon appears.
Premeu MEAS to measure the first hypotenuse.
Premeu MEAS again to measure the second hypotenuse.
Premeu MEAS a third time to measure the horizontal distance between the two points.
The device will automatically calculate and display the height (L).

4.7. Countdown Measurement

To use the countdown measurement function:

Set the desired countdown time using the appropriate buttons (refer to the display diagram for specific controls).
Once the countdown is complete, the measurement will be taken and displayed.

4.8. Addition & Subtraction Measurement

This function allows you to add or subtract measurement results:

Perform a single, area, or volume measurement to get result 'A'.

Premeu MEAS again to get another result 'B'.
The device will automatically calculate and display 'A+B' or 'A-B' based on the selected operation.

4.9. Data Storage & Query

The NF-270 can store up to 99 sets of data:

4.10. Calibració

To perform self-help calibration:

Navigate to the calibration setting (indicated by a flashing arrow).
Premeu MEAS to enter self-help calibration.

4.11. Buzzer Setting

To adjust the buzzer setting:

The flashing arrow on the screen indicates that the Buzzer switch setting has been entered.

4.12. Bidirectional Level Bubbles

The NF-270 features dual level bubbles (lateral and vertical) to ensure accurate measurements. Keep the water drop of the level bubble in the middle and the ranger horizontal to the ground during ranging to ensure accuracy.

5. Manteniment

Keep the device dry and clean. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

8. Consells d'usuari

For best accuracy, ensure the device is stable and level during measurement, especially for Pythagorean and volume calculations.
In bright outdoor conditions, the laser dot may be difficult to see. Consider using a target plate or measuring in shaded areas for better visibility.
Always check the battery level before starting important measurements to avoid interruptions.
Utilize the data storage function to keep track of multiple measurements without needing a separate notepad.
