1. Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your NJTY Infrared Thermometer. These non-contact thermometers are designed for quick and accurate temperature measurement across various applications, including industrial, kitchen, and general household use. 2. Configuració

2.2 Instal·lació de la bateria
- Locate the battery lock latch at the bottom of the handle.
- Feu lliscar el pestell per obrir el compartiment de la bateria.

- Close the battery compartment by sliding the latch back into place until it clicks securely.

- Temperature Sensing Area: The infrared sensor that detects temperature.
- Infrared Laser Point: Emits a laser dot for targeting the measurement area.
- Laser Point Switch: Button to activate/deactivate the laser.

3. Instruccions de funcionament
3.1 Prendre una mesura
- Point the thermometer at the object you wish to measure.
- Press and hold the measurement trigger. The laser pointer (if activated) will indicate the center of the measurement area.
- The temperature reading will appear on the display screen within 0.5 seconds.
- Release the trigger to hold the reading on the screen. The device will automatically shut down after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.

3.2 Switching Temperature Units
Press the '°C/°F' button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units on the display.

3.3 Understanding Distance to Spot Ratio (D:S)
The thermometer has a Distance to Spot Ratio (D:S) of 12:1. This means that at a distance of 12 units, the measurement spot diameter will be 1 unit. For example, if you are 12 inches away from an object, the measurement area will be 1 inch in diameter. To ensure accurate readings, especially for smaller objects, measure from a closer distance. It is recommended not to exceed 1 meter for testing, as measuring from too far away may result in mixed temperature readings due to air and dust interference.

3.4 Configuració d'emissivitat
Emissivity is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivity values. Models T400 and T600 have a fixed emissivity of 0.95, which is suitable for most organic materials and painted surfaces. Models T400A and T600A feature adjustable emissivity, allowing for more accurate measurements on a wider range of materials.
For models with adjustable emissivity, refer to the Emissivity Reference Table below to set the appropriate value for the material being measured. Adjusting emissivity ensures the most accurate temperature readings.

4. Manteniment
4.1 Neteja
- Neteja de lents: Use a soft, clean cloth or cotton swab with water or medical alcohol. Wipe gently to avoid scratching the lens.

4.2 Substitució de la bateria

4.3 Emmagatzematge
Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
5. Solució De Problemes

- Lectures inexactes:
- Ensure the D:S ratio is respected; measure closer to the target for smaller objects.
- For T400A/T600A models, verify the emissivity setting matches the material being measured.

8. Consells d'usuari

- Not for Internal Temperature: Remember, this device measures surface temperature. It is not designed for or accurate in measuring internal temperatures of objects or living beings.
