1. Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of the NJTY T02A AC Voltage Sensing Voltage Tester. This non-contact electric pen is designed for high-voltage electrical measurement, offering high sensitivity and convenience for various environments. It features live wire, neutral wire, and breakpoint detection with an audio-visual alarm, covering an AC voltagrang de 12-1000V.
2. Instruccions de seguretat
⚠ Avís
Please read this instruction manual carefully before use, and strictly observe all precautions, cautions, and warnings listed in the safety rules and this instruction manual.
- To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, ensure the stylus is used in accordance with these instructions. Failure to do so may affect or compromise the protection provided.
- Before using the stylus, always test it on a known live power source to confirm it is in normal working order.
- Even if there is no display or audible alarm, voltage may still be present. This stylus indicates effective voltage when the power supply generates sufficient electrostatic field strength. If the field strength is weak, the stylus may not detect the presence of voltage. La presència de volumtage can be affected by several factors, including shielded wires/cables, insulation thickness and type, distance from the voltage source, complete insulation, and differences in socket design.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly. Before use, check the tip of the probe for cracks or breaks. If a problem is suspected, send it for repair.
- No apliqueu més del volum nominaltage marked on the stylus. Use caution when testing voltages above 30V AC, as there is a danger of electric shock.
- Always observe local and national safety codes and use appropriate protective equipment.

The NJTY T02A requires 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included by default).

- Rotate the battery negative screw cap (component 11 in Figure 1) to open the battery compartment.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries according to the positive and negative indications inside the compartment.
- Securely close the battery compartment by rotating the cap back into place.
⚠ Avís
Per evitar descàrregues elèctriques, no utilitzeu el llapis per a volums.tage detection until the battery cover is securely locked.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Encendre/Apagar
- To turn on: Press and hold the power button (component 8 in Figure 1) for more than 1 second. The device will beep once, and the power indicator (component 7) will light up, entering the test state.
- To turn off: While the power is on, press the power switch (component 8).
5.2 High and Low Sensitivity Switching (H/L)
- The device defaults to low-sensitivity test state when turned on.
- Press the sensitivity switch (component 9) to toggle between high and low sensitivity.
- When the sensitivity indicator (component 6) is on, the device is in high sensitivity test state. When it is off, it is in low sensitivity test state.
- Note: High sensitivity range: 12~1000V. Low sensitivity range: 48~1000V.
5.3 Illumination / Laser
- To turn on/off the flashlight (component 2): Lightly press the lighting and laser switching key (component 10).
- To turn on the laser pointer (component 4): Long press and hold the lighting and laser switching key (component 10) for 2 seconds.
- To turn off the laser pointer: While the laser pointer is on, long press and hold the lighting and laser switching key (component 10) for 2 seconds.

5.4 AC Voltage Detecció
When the probe (NCV sensor head, component 1) is placed near an AC voltage source, the signal indicator (component 3) will light up. The signal indicators will increase or decrease based on the signal strength sensed. The device provides audio-visual feedback:
- Weak signal: Yellow light (component 6) brightens, and the beeping chirps are slow.
- Strong signal: Red light (component 5) brightens, and the beeping chirps are rapid.

5.5 Live Wire, Neutral Wire, and Breakpoint Detection

- Detecció de cables en fase: The tester will show a strong signal (red light, rapid beeping) when near a live wire.

- Neutral Wire Detection: The tester will show a weak signal (yellow light, slow or no alarm) when near a neutral wire.

- Distinguishing Live and Neutral Lines: If live and neutral lines are close, try to separate them. If separation is not possible, distinguish them by signal strength: the strong signal indicates the live line, and the weak signal indicates the neutral line.
- Breakpoint Detection: The tester can be used to detect breakpoints in wires, cables, strings, and circuits.

6. Manteniment
6.1 Neteja
Netegeu el dispositiu amb un anunciamp cloth. Do not use the pen until it is completely dry after cleaning.
6.2 Apagada automàtica
The test pen will automatically shut down after approximately 5 minutes of inactivity (no induction signal or operation) to conserve battery life.

6.3 Sota el voltage Alerta
Quan la bateria voltage drops below approximately 2.4V, the test pen will automatically shut down. Before shutting down, the buzzer will beep three times, and the red light will flash three times. Please replace the batteries immediately when this occurs.
7. Resolució de problemes / PMF
7.1 Problems with Static Electricity
- If the electric pen makes sounds when placed on a table or quickly swept through the air after being turned on, this is due to static electricity and is normal.
- False alarms may occur if the electric pen rubs against hair or clothes after being turned on. These are also caused by static electricity and are normal phenomena. Any alarm caused by static electricity will typically occur only 1-2 times.
7.2 Coupling Signals
- The mobile phone charging line is a low-voltage DC. If the tester reports an alarm, or if electrical appliances with metal casings (without grounding) trigger an alarm, this is because the switching power supply or common frequency signal is coupled to the wires or the casing. This is considered normal behavior.

9. Consells d'usuari
For optimal performance and safety, always ensure the battery compartment is securely closed before use. When distinguishing between live and neutral wires, remember that a stronger signal (red light, rapid beeping) indicates a live wire, while a weaker signal (yellow light, slow or no alarm) indicates a neutral wire. If you suspect a wire break, use the breakpoint detection feature by moving the tester along the wire until the signal changes.
