The NEJE E40 is a professional cutting module specially designed for long-term safety cutting processing. It is currently the strongest power and optical performance module with 2 beams. Compared with NEJE A40640, the E40 is more focused on cutting stability, heavy-duty design, and easier-to-use air assist, providing more stable output power for cutting. The E40 also boasts good cutting efficiency, capable of cleanly cutting 4mm plywood at 300mm/min. NEJE has optimized the optical characteristics in the XY axis direction, ensuring balanced cutting and making it more suitable for cutting tasks. With the air nozzle removed, the E40 can also be directly used for engraving without air assistance, and its engraving ability is very close to that of the A40640.

2. Contingut del paquet

3. Configuració i instal·lació
3.1 Compatibilitat
The NEJE E40 Laser Module is compatible with a wide range of laser engravers and CNC machines that support GRBL control, including NEJE 3 Max, NEJE 3 Pro, NEJE 2s Max, NEJE 2s Plus, and other systems with appropriate wiring.
3.2 Instal·lació física
Attach the NEJE E40 laser module to your engraving machine's gantry. Ensure it is securely fastened. If your machine requires a height adjuster, install it as shown in the diagram below.

3.3 Connexió elèctrica
The adapter board is used to work with the NEJE laser module. The green box on the diagram indicates the output connection to the NEJE laser module. The red box represents the power and signal input (3 ways, you only need to select one input). The yellow box is the test button. Pressing this button will turn the laser on at full power.

The module requires a DC 12V 4A input. The interface uses a 4-pin PH2.0 connector, with an option for 2-pin DC12V extra power. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections to prevent damage.
4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Enfocament
The NEJE E40 is a fixed-focus module. The optimal focus distance is approximately 3mm from the radiator to the material surface. Important: Do NOT rotate the inner lens, as this will damage the optical system.

4.2 Air Assist
For optimal cutting performance, especially with hard materials, it is highly recommended to use air assist. The module has a built-in high-pressure air nozzle. An air pump providing 0.5-1.5mpa of clean air is required, connected via a 4mm PVC trachea. For cutting hard materials, an air pressure above 30 PSI is recommended.

4.3 Material Processing
The E40 module excels in both cutting and engraving a variety of materials. It provides extremely small incisions for cutting MDF boards, leather, acrylic, fabric, and cardboard (less than 4mm thick, minimum gap less than 0.06mm). It can also engrave stainless steel, stone, glass, and ceramics with high precision.

5. Manteniment
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your NEJE E40 Laser Module.
5.1 Neteja de lents
If using an ordinary oil-water filter air source, it is crucial to clean the protective window lens regularly. Failure to do so can lead to damage to the lens and reduced performance. The protective window lens is designed to withstand temperatures up to 1000℃ and is replaceable.

6. Solució De Problemes
- El làser no dispara o la sortida és feble: Check power connections (DC 12V 4A), signal connections (PWM/TTL), and ensure the test button on the adapter board is not stuck. Verify compatibility with your control board.
- Poor cutting/engraving quality:
- Ensure the focus is correctly set (3mm from radiator to material). Do not rotate the inner lens.
- For cutting hard materials, ensure air assist is active and the air pressure is above 30 PSI.
- Clean the protective window lens regularly if using an oil-water filter air source.
- Check material type and adjust power/speed settings in your software.
- Problemes de compatibilitat: The module is designed for NEJE 3 Max/Pro/2s Max/2s Plus and other GRBL-compatible systems. If experiencing issues with other brands (e.g., CR flacon, Zbaitu, AlgoLaser, Twotrees), verify wiring and signal protocols according to your machine's documentation.

- Ús òptim: If your primary work involves cutting, the E40 module is highly recommended due to its stability and cutting efficiency. For tasks primarily focused on carving, the NEJE A40640 module might be more suitable.
- Air Assist for Hard Materials: Always use air assist when cutting hard materials to achieve clean edges and prevent scorching. Maintain an air pressure above 30 PSI for best results.
