5. Instruccions de configuració

1. Instal·lació del controlador: This adapter requires driver installation. It is not plug-and-play. Please visit the official DisplayLink website (displaylink.com) to download and install the latest drivers compatible with your operating system.
2. Connexió a l'ordinador: Connect the adapter's hybrid 2-in-1 cable to an available USB-A 3.0 port or USB-C port on your computer.

3. Connect to Displays: Connect your HDMI monitors to the HDMI output ports on the WAVLINK adapter using standard HDMI cables.
4. Encès: Ensure your computer and monitors are powered on. The adapter does not require an additional power source.
5. Mac OS Specific Step: For Mac users, after driver installation, it is necessary to grant permission to the DisplayLink Manager to record your screen. This is required for the adapter to function correctly.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

Once the adapter is connected and drivers are installed, your operating system should detect the connected displays. You can then configure the display settings:

6.1 Modes de visualització

• Mode mirall: Duplicates your primary display onto the external monitors. Supported on Windows, Mac OS, and Android (up to 1080P).
• Mode d'ampliació: Extends your desktop across multiple screens, allowing for a larger workspace. Supported on Windows and Mac OS.
• Mode de rotació: Allows you to rotate the display orientation (e.g., portrait). Supported on Windows and Mac OS 12.x or later.
• Mode de petxina: Allows you to use external displays with your laptop lid closed. Supported on Windows and Mac OS 12.x or later.

6.2 Configuring Displays

• Windows: Right-click on your desktop, select "Display settings," and arrange your monitors, choose display modes, and adjust resolutions. Windows supports up to 6 displays with multiple adapters.
• Mac US: Go to "System Settings" (or "System Preferences"), then "Displays." You can arrange displays, select mirroring or extending, and adjust resolutions. Mac OS supports up to 4 displays with multiple adapters.

7. Compatibilitat

The WAVLINK USB 3.1/USB C to Dual HDMI Adapter is compatible with a wide range of operating systems and devices:

• Sistemes operatius: Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, MacOS 10.14-13.x or later (including M1/M2/M3 Mac), Chrome OS, Android, Ubuntu, and HarmonyOS.

7.1 Notes importants de compatibilitat

• Unsupported OS: Linux, Unix, iOS, and iPad OS are NOT supported.
• Android Limitations: Android devices support mirror mode ONLY, with a maximum resolution of 1080P.
• Mac OS Rotation/Clamshell: Rotation and Clamshell modes are supported on Mac OS 12.x or later.
• HDCP Content: This adapter does not support playback of HDCP copyright protected content from platforms like Blu-ray, Netflix, Prime Video, iTunes, Hulu, etc.
• Usage Suitability: The adapter is suitable for office work, handling spreadsheets, documents, or browsing the web. It is NOT suitable for gaming or other high-intensity graphical tasks.

8. Solució De Problemes

• No Display/Functionality: Ensure the DisplayLink driver is correctly installed from displaylink.com. This adapter is not plug-and-play.
• Mac OS Display Issues: Verify that DisplayLink Manager has been granted permission to record your screen in your Mac's System Settings.
• Android Display Limitations: Remember that Android devices only support mirror mode, and the maximum resolution is 1080P. Extended display is not available for Android.
• Protected Content Playback: Si no podeu view content from streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) or Blu-ray discs, it is likely due to HDCP copyright protection, which this adapter does not support.
• Performance for Gaming/Intensive Tasks: This adapter is optimized for productivity tasks. It is not recommended for gaming or applications requiring high graphical performance.
• Linux/Unix/iOS/iPad OS: These operating systems are not supported by this adapter.
