1. Introducció

This infrared thermometer is designed for measuring the surface temperature of objects. It is suitable for various hot, hazardous, or hard-to-reach objects, allowing for safe and quick non-contact temperature measurement.

The device is composed of an optical system, a photoelectric sensor, a signal amplifier, a signal processing circuit, and an LCD display. The optical system focuses the infrared energy emitted by the object's surface onto the photoelectric sensor, which then converts the energy into a corresponding electrical signal. This signal is processed and displayed as a temperature reading on the LCD.

5. Configuració

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

  2. Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment. The lock has been upgraded to be stronger and prevent the battery from falling out.

6. Funcionament

6.1. Measurement Method

When taking measurements, pay attention to the Distance-to-Spot (D:S) ratio. As the distance (D) from the thermometer to the target surface increases, the spot diameter (S) on the target surface becomes larger. The D:S ratio for this device is approximately 12:1.

6.2. Mesura única

Pull and release the trigger. The laser pointer will activate to help aim at the target (the laser is for aiming only). The temperature of the target will be displayed on the LCD. The display will show 'HOLD' indicating the reading is held.

6.3. Mesura contínua

Pull and hold the trigger. Slowly move the thermometer across the target area. The thermometer will continuously scan and display the temperature on the LCD. The 'SCAN' symbol will be displayed. The maximum temperature value during continuous measurement will also be shown on the display.

6.4. Funcions del botó

  • Laser Point (Button 2): Press to turn the laser pointer on or off. The laser is used for aiming only.
  • Backlight (Button 4): Press to turn the LCD backlight on or off.
  • Temperature Unit (°C/°F) (Button 3): Premeu per canviar entre Celsius i Fahrenheit.
  • Emissivity Adjustment (T600A Model Only): Long press Button 3. The preset emissivity (0.95) will be displayed. Use Button 2 (down arrow) or Button 4 (up arrow) to decrease or increase the emissivity. Press Button 3 again to save the new emissivity setting.

Detailed instructions on how to adjust emissivity on the T600A model: 1. Long press the °C/°F key for two seconds to enter emissivity adjustment mode (preset 0.92 will be displayed). 2. Press the down arrow key to reduce emissivity. 3. Press the up arrow key to increase emissivity. Press °C/°F again to save.

7. Manteniment
