5. Configuració
5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

- Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment. The lock has been upgraded to be stronger and prevent the battery from falling out.

6. Funcionament
6.1. Measurement Method
When taking measurements, pay attention to the Distance-to-Spot (D:S) ratio. As the distance (D) from the thermometer to the target surface increases, the spot diameter (S) on the target surface becomes larger. The D:S ratio for this device is approximately 12:1.

6.2. Mesura única
Pull and release the trigger. The laser pointer will activate to help aim at the target (the laser is for aiming only). The temperature of the target will be displayed on the LCD. The display will show 'HOLD' indicating the reading is held.
6.3. Mesura contínua
Pull and hold the trigger. Slowly move the thermometer across the target area. The thermometer will continuously scan and display the temperature on the LCD. The 'SCAN' symbol will be displayed. The maximum temperature value during continuous measurement will also be shown on the display.

- Laser Point (Button 2): Press to turn the laser pointer on or off. The laser is used for aiming only.
- Backlight (Button 4): Press to turn the LCD backlight on or off.
