1. Introducció

The GIRIER Tuya ZigBee Human Presence Sensor is an advanced smart home device designed to detect human presence and motion using 24GHz mmWave radar technology. Unlike traditional PIR sensors, this device can detect subtle movements, including breathing and heartbeat, even when a person is stationary. It integrates seamlessly with the TuyaSmart or Smart Life application, enabling comprehensive home security, automation, and energy-saving scenarios.

5.1. Instal·lació de l'aplicació

Before setting up the sensor, install the Vida intel·ligent or TuyaSmart aplicació al teu telèfon mòbil. Cerca "Smart Life" or "TuyaSmart" in your device's app store (APP Store/Google Play) or scan the QR code provided in the original user manual to install the app. Register an account if you don't already have one.

Plug the provided Type-C USB cable into the power jack of the sensor and connect it to a 5V1A power adapter (not included). The sensor's LED indicator will light up.

• Detected Range Adjustment: Adjust the detection range from 1.5 to 6 meters. Note that there might be a tolerance of ±0.75 meters due to environmental factors.

• Convenient Living: Per example, upon entering a bathroom, the lights can automatically turn on. They will turn off once the sensor detects no one, ensuring privacy as no camera record is involved.

• Departure Mode: Set up a "Departure Mode" to automatically turn off all lights and activate security measures when no presence is detected, saving energy and enhancing home security.

• A Tuya ZigBee Hub is always required for this sensor to function.
• If high sensitivity is set, subtle movements like airflow might be detected. For general human motion detection, it is recommended to set the sensitivity to "low".
• The sensor cannot distinguish between humans and inanimate objects.
• If the detected object is within 3 meters, even with low sensitivity, micro-movements may still be detected.
• Each sensor is designed to monitor one room. For monitoring multiple rooms or distinct areas, install independent sensors in each location.
